Review: [redacted] has not returned several calls concerning manufacturing rebate issues for repair work on my Samsung LCD television. Samsung isued us two rebate forms, one for repair work to replace the front panel (for the second time in three years), and one to the purchase of a new TV, Now they are not going to honor either because he failed to fill out the rebate forms section requiring a Samsung repair ticket #. Also when I set up my repaired TV I noticed severe scratches on the front frame that were not there prior to the repair service.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted] to work with Samsung to straighten out the rebate issues at the very least! The scratches make me question whether they are a result of the repair work or if the front panel is a used one. An explanation would be in order.

I am rejecting this response because: The scratches on the frame were clearly not caused by me during transport.This tv has already cost us over 2,500 dollars what wih original cost and having the front panel replaced twice in a three year period. I was extremely careful in transport and the drive was less than twenty minutes. The scratches appear to have possibly been caused by a fixture to hold the tv during repairs. If Consumer Electronics would bother to return my phone messages this would not be the first time they had heard of this problem. Regarding the creation of a ticket number, we have been in contact with Samsung (that is where got the discount repair coupon), and they say that they cannot honor the coupon because Consumer Electronics did not fill out the ticket number on the coupon. As a certified Samsung service technician, we presumed this would not be a problem for Consumer Electronics. We are still pursuing this matter with Samsung and hope to get it resolved. If it is not Consumer Electronics responsibility to obtain the ticket number and it is not Samsungs responsibility, then where does that leave us? Lastly, I would welcome a representative from Consumer Electronics to come to our home and examine the damage on the frame if that would be constructive... Thanks..
