[redacted],
We completed the repayment plan documentation request on 12/30/14. You confirmed with our representatives that we indeed completed the repayment plan and you are now in the correct program that you desired when you contacted us for our services. In addition, we have...

already completed the refund request that you agreed to on 03/23 because you did not feel we adequately explained our services. Is there anything else we can do to accommodate you?

Review: I filled out a survey of some sort several weeks ago and was notified that someone would contact me regarding my student loans. When I received a phone call on 3/24/15, I was asked several questions pertaining to my student loans and then transferred to [redacted] proceeded to go over the programs I was approved for. I told her several times that I would would not agree to anything before I spoke with my husband about the details. She told me that she couldn't start the process until I signed the final paperwork and scan/email it back to her, but in order for her to send that to me I had to esign several different forms. I spoke with my husband later that afternoon and we decided not to proceed. I called [redacted] on 3/25/15 to inform her of this and when I told her my reason for calling she put me on hold and then told me that she would have someone call me back she had to go somewhere. Several ours later someone called but I missed the call. I called this morning 3/27/15 and left a voicemail for [redacted] that I did not wish to proceed. I started to worry because I did not want any money taken out of our account when I didnt wish to proceed. I called the number that had called on 3/25/15 and spoke with someone who told me my account had been closed. [redacted] called me back about an hour later and yelled at me for wasting her time. She told me she didn't understand why I kept calling when my account had been closed days ago (I had only learned an hour prior that it had been closed) and argued with me about when I found out and how many times I had spoken with someone from the company. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she said that she was the supervisor and I told her I wanted to make a complaint and she hung up on me. She was very unprofessional and the entire company felt shady. When I immediately called back to try to make a complaint, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they were all in meetings and someone would call me back.Desired Settlement: I would like to ensure that my information that was obtained on 3/24/15 by this company to be destroyed. I would like for this company to investigate their customer service personnel, and ensure they receive training on how to speak to potential customers. I would like [redacted] to receive some sort of reprimand for the way she spoke to me like I was an it.

Review: Company claims to assist with Student Loan Forgiveness/Student Loan Services and to be associated with the State Dept of Education. After you give them all your personal information they make you aware of programs that can help you, but of course there is a fee involved which is explained; can be paid in monthly installments. They claim they can consolidate your student loans to get a lower fee or after a certain period of time, your loan forgiven. Scary part is after giving all my information she told me my pin# for FAFSA (I never supplied that to her). When I asked for everything in writing that she had gone over with me, she said she wasn't able to do that and referred me to the website (http://cfassistancegroup.com). She said she would save my application and after I decided what I wanted to do, I could give her ([redacted]) a call back to complete everything. My main concern is making sure my personal information does not get used or violated and whether or not this company is really legit and legal to assist with Student Loan Services.Desired Settlement: I would like to make sure that my personal information is not used for any other purposes or violated. I chose not to finalize anything with this company due to being a bit curious to the company being legit and legal. I would like this company investigated and some documentation that I reported this in the event my personal information is used for any financial scams or personal information identity scams.

response.

CFAG rejects Ms. [redacted]'s allegations that it did anything improper, and CFAG assures

her that it is an ethical and legitimate company. Contrary to Ms. [redacted]'s statements, CFAG

does not consolidate consumers' student loans nor does it lend or provide lower interest rates for

student loan borrower/customers.

Rather, CFAG solely provides application preparation services for its customers whom

documents relevant to its customers needs, and then provides such documents to its customers

Review: I was contacted by this company saying they would pay my student loan for me. I was told they were taking me off from [redacted] because [redacted] was a terrible company and they would take care of all my bills. SO I did this and they have been taking 120 dollars from my account to take care of the initial payment. Then following the payments I find that they didn't do anything they had told me they were going to do and all they did was switch me back to [redacted], so basically they told me a bunch of lies and took my money for five months for something I already had in place but was unaware about. I have already spoken to [redacted] to confirm this. My loans were already in good standing before I was involved in business with this company.Desired Settlement: I want all my money returned to my account and I want all my personal information that they have on record destroyed and I want this done soon.

Review: I was told by this company that I qualified for student loan forgiveness. They said that my payments would be 54.00 for 120 months and at the end of that period with no missed payments the rest of my loan would be forgiven. They charged me 495.00 to do this. The only thing they have done is transfer my loan to a new loan company and my payments have not decreased. The will not return any of my emails or messages tot eh company. They guaranteed that I was eligible and if it was not possible I would receive a refund of the 495.00.Desired Settlement: To be refunded the 495.00 fee they charged for a service that was not completed.

Review: I received a call during my lunch break from a woman from a local [redacted] area number ([redacted]), stating she could help me with my student loan. I advised I didn't need help and asked to be removed from the list, I've asked to be removed from all these student loan lists. She responded with "Then stop filling information out online." And hung up. I called back to report her to a manager, I've not filled anything out online. I was hung up on three to four times before she answered with "What do you want [redacted]?" I told her she had no business being on the phone and speaking to people the way she did and hanging up on them, she said I shouldn't put my information on line if I didn't want people to call me. I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager and used profanity. I used profanity back, there's no way she's the manager with this attitude. During this call she stated she had my address, phone, and my [redacted] account. I don't want ANY business that acts like this to have my information. She hung up on me on this call as well. Calling me another expletive and saying she'd do what she wanted.Desired Settlement: I really think she shouldn't be in the customer service business at all. Period. Much less saying she's helping people with a financial situation. She should send me a written apology, but, it wouldn't be sincere. So, above all, remove me from any of these call lists and never call me again.
