Review: 1. Delayed start date to renovate bathroom in my coop apartment - paperwork states "1st/2nd week September 2014". Changed to October * and then finally started on October **, 2014

2. He brought supplies in and I saw the light fixture box. Told him that was NOT the light I picked. He was ready to install it without telling me. I sent him an email with a light that I wanted.

2. He installed a floor tile that was totally different than the wall tile. Paperwork states "new paradisio beige (tile) on floor and walls. He will tell you that I said it did not have to match, I said that we were first met in [redacted] in May! We met after that at least twice and as the paper work states "same tile floor and walls. He had to remove that tile and install the correct tile, but again he changed what was discussed without any discussion!

3. Installed vanity without drawers. I specifically requested a vanity with drawers and it is in the paperwork. He told me (after it was installed) that it would not fit with pipes. Again, no discussion beforehand. Maybe I would have chose a different vanity than the one he DECIDED to install.

4. Broke valve on flushnometer when reinstalling toilet and I had to buy a new flushnometer and my [redacted] had to install it. I had to pay [redacted], the [redacted], a separate fee.

5. Installed windowsill, which did not match sink. Again, paperwork stated "new granite windowsill (match sink)". I again questioned him about it and he then installed a matching windowsill directly over the wrong piece he originally installed. It looks ridiculous. Again, no discussion.

6. He informed that I had to buy a flex shower rod because he could not install a regular shower rod without cracking tiles!

7. The tile work is extremely sloppy with grout everywhere to fill in where pieces were not measured correctly. There are chips in numerous tiles. At one point, the serial #'s were showing until I asked to fix them! There was a hole behind the flusher because he could not fit the tile around pipe. He put a white piece of cardboard to cover the hole. Also, the tile was never cleaned. I have been cleaning the grout off the tiles since he left.

8. We met on Wednesday, October ** and told him that the whole tile work was sloppy and it needed a tile border to make it look finished. He said that the tile did not make a border that matched and we decided that we would both research and find a nice border. I sent him an email Thursday morning with my suggestions attached and he told me he had already installed a border! I got home and the border is a plastic, cheap border which he installed on just half the bathroom.

9. Installed door saddle which does not fit. It is filled with tons of grout on both sides.

10. The bathtub is full of cracks and chips which were definitely not there before the work started.Desired Settlement: I do not want him to return. I have to hire someone to practically redo the bathroom. The tile work is sloppy, uneven, with cracks and it needs a new border (that I will select). Install a shower rod, fix hole correctly, install a new door saddle that fits. Buy a new vanity with drawers that a competent contractor can install. I request a full refund for this extremely sloppy, unprofessional job. I think he may subcontracted the work to an extremely inexperienced person.
