Where does one start with reviewing this company........Every step of the way dealing with this company they will try to hit you with hidden fees, falsely quote state law when never proving it and take hours of your time on the phone and service appointments
I've had this system in my car for about months nowUsing this device while driving is more of a hazard than talking on the phone, texting or even drinking while drivingOften this device will sound multiple times driving less than a mileExtremely dangerous in foul weather and in heavy traffic and use caution if you have any problems breathing or getting light headed because you must blow and suck on the device as hard as possible to get a pass reading
This company tricks you as much as possible so that the customer receives a "lock out" costing you more money and time with the rude and U knowledgable customer service teamtimes out of you are fed misinformation by the customer service team and they treat you as a criminal and victimize you the entire wayTheir attitude is that you are locked into a contract and you have no choice but to sit and take the abuseIf using customer service "chat" the same rude/abusive attitude continues and it it impossible to save the online chat for reference for yourself, a supervisor or your lawyerMany times for no apparent reason the customer service rep will end the chat unexpectedly and you must again start from square oneYou can chat and or speak to different people at this company and each one will tell you a completely different thing at the same time quoting state law without proof of suchThey will not provided the supposed state laws in writing only email you the contract and advise you to contact your lawyer or a probation department which may people do not have
This company is quick to email you or call you when it's time to sign a contract or if there is a problem with the unitI received an urgent call from this company demanding I bring my car in for service the very next morning for a serious problemThey would not advise of the problem and said that they did not know what the actual problem wasTook yet another day off from work for service to find out there was no problem at all!
Every months you must get a recalibrate on the unitI was told this service was $3-$but in fact it was times that amountYou must note on your calendar days prior to the recalibration to order a new unit every months because you cannot order it a second sooner and they refuse to do it automaticallyThey will not send you a reminder email nor call you that your unit is due for a recalibration since they are trying to force a "lock out" costing you more time and moneyWhen you do order a recalibration unit, if it does not arrive on time your car will not start and only can be towed to service center
Another huge problem is if you need any work ot maintenance on your carThey will not deactivate the device and you must sit in the car no matter how long it takes the service done to your vehicleIt it's a day process be ready to sit in your car that long because no mechanic will agree to learn and deal with blowing into the device every few minutes
I've you are ready to take the device out of your car you will most likely be still in contract since the contract time is on their terms onlyIf you break the contract it will cost you upwards of $to get out
I could expand even with more details and experiencesJust note beware and they will extort and victimize you every step of the wayBe prepared to bleed money and hours upon hours of your time
Looking forward to seeing what the media and federal law does in the future with this company

Spare yourself the anguish and hours and days of headaches dealing with an incompetent group of peopleGet it through somewhere(somebody) elseI think this company is in their infant states, but that shouldn't be an excuseGet a Different company, not this oneMy issue is still not resolved and I'm filing a complain to headquarters
I'm not sure how they operateThe calibur is faulty and kills your battery in less than hours in the middle of summerIn wiinter, I had to put a trickle charge on there over night to get the car to startThen you have to call their service center and wait on hold for minutes to get your car started after arguing with them that it isn't your faultYou're required to start the car every few days, but it drained my batter in less than hours in the winterI had my battery check three different timesTwice with the people who installed the device and one with my own mechanicThey all said the battery was fineThen it destroyed all of my electronics: the satlaite radio, the car sensors, the gps, the bluetooth, everything
Every billng cycle I had to call them because they weren't charging the correct amount and every billing cycle the price would changeI have it printed out that the price changed in less than an hour while I was on the phone with them trying to fix the proplem
Three times I asked to speak with a manager (and I have it recorded), and three times I had to wait only to be sent to voice mail where they assured me they would call backNONE of them didFinally, today, I had someone call, but my bill has gone from $to $26,They're crazy and I do not know how they function at all, but the issue is still not resolved after months of not having the device and Ihad to get rid of the car, tooIt killed the elctronics
If you want to get an interlock deviceYou really need to go somewhere elseSave yourself from the hours and days of headacheThe people have no idea what they're doingI think it is in its infanct stages, but that shouldn't be an excuseFind a different providerLike I said, my issue is still not resolved

I called Intoxilock a total of times over the past months concerning them billing me after the extraction of my sons device! I was billed on the 11th of July for the extraction and final billing for returning the deviceAnd them billed the monthly bill again on the 19thdays after they received the device in the mailFelix said that was an oversight and they would be crediting my MasterCard on the 11th or 12th of the next month as this is when they do their billingSo I waited and no credit!! So I called again the next month and of course the same ole story but nothingSo after the 4th call where Felix assured me that Angela his supervisor was doing it as we spokeI just got my 5th bill and no creditSo I tried to call Intoxilock again and to my Surprise the phone rang and rang and rang ( no surprise really) I finally called MasterCard and filed a charge dispute with them! I'm going to let them handle it from here on out

There are far better companies than this oneI HIGHLY suggest to pass by intoxalock to another companyYou'll only incur migraines with this one
Horrible, faulty equipmentThe breathalyzer works fine, but everything under the hood is a disasterThe caliber would constantly drain my battery every night; even on cool summer nightsI called to complain, passed on to three different manages, where I left voice mailAll three were supposed to get in contact with me and never didI recorded all of their conversations because the service representatives had no clue what they were doing
The billing was always wrongI would have to wait thirty minutes to talk to a representative, again, not knowing what he/she was doing, and argue over the billAt one time, there were three different prices on their website in a matter of hoursI snapshot those, tooNow they say I owe them $3,Their customers service is inadequate and inconsistent
Personally, I think they need to be furloughed and the state cut them off until they can figure out what they're doing and work out the kinksCompletely unprofessional
I plan on find the main headquarters to bring this to their attention

As a former employee of almost years I have to say I am very disappointedMy account has been overcharged now not once, but twiceI've had to sit on hold for very long wait times to get this correctedThis is just post installationI was charged for a lock out after reposted scheduled vehicle maintenance, then charged $for shipping out mouthpiecesMy installer was late to my original installation, rude about it, and told me the intoxalocks aren't where he makes his money so it isn't a priority (Edwin in Des Moines)The only reason I went with this company is because I felt like it was a company I knew and I trusted, but after everything I have been through I am no longer an advocate for you guysCounting down the days until I can take this out and no longer be affiliated with you guys....Sorry!

I had this installed in my vehicle in December of 2015, they only mailed half of my installation kit, requiring me to miss work for no reason two days in a row, that was the first sign. Very unprofessional and customer service operator was horrible.

2nd problem, they locked me out of my vehicle because they said I missed a ROLLING RESTART I clearly did not, so I had to pay 90 dollars.

Now that I am due to get the machine removed on Saturday morning they said that I have an unauthorized start ay 7:23am when I am clearly already driving at 7:23am. Which they are billing me an additional 90 for. They are scammers and out to get money from me whenever they can.
