Re: Complaint ID# [redacted] To Whom It May Concern,This letter serves as our response from Right Honda regarding compliant ID# [redacted] from [redacted] Right Honda offers various promotional mailers, as well as phone calls to customers, to assist customers with the purchase or lease of new and pre-owned vehiclesThese advertisements and phone calls give information on current promotions or special financing rates, but of course these are based on customers’ credit and auto loan history, and are subject to approval by the finance companyMr [redacted] was contacted by Right Honda to come in and talk about options for a new carWhen customers’ come to our dealership, we do the best we can to come to an agreement that makes both parties happy, but financing is always subject to final approval by the finance companyRight Honda does not have access to every aspect of the customer’s financial situations, so there may be unforeseen circumstances that arise once a contract is submitted for final approval In the case of Mr [redacted] , this was the caseAmerican Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) would not approve the contract as it was written on a new vehicle, because he did not meet certain criteriaAfter Right Honda received this information from AHFC, our Finance Manager contacted Mr [redacted] to inform him of the bank’s decision At this point, we offered to show Mr [redacted] vehicles that were within the approval guidelines that were offered by different finance companies with different interest rates and termsThe finance company determines interest rates based on the customers’ credit history Mr [redacted] became upset and requested that we return the vehicle he was intending to trade in, and he did not wish to discuss any further vehicle options.At this point we gave Mr [redacted] his trade in back, along with the original license plateThe trade in vehicle was returned to Mr [redacted] in the same condition that it was received Right Honda does not have the option to honor the original contract as Mr [redacted] is asking, because AHFC will not extend the loan Right Honda is not the finance company As stated previously, there are other options for Mr [redacted] with different finance companies for different vehicles Mr [redacted] is welcome to come in and discuss these other optionsRight Honda strives to make each and every customer happy with their vehicle purchases, and we feel that we tried to help Mr [redacted] , but unfortunately we were not given the opportunintyWe value all of our customers and potential customers, and hope Mr [redacted] will reconsider exploring his options.Sincerely, [redacted] ***Business Manager [redacted]

Ms*** and her boyfriend came to Right Honda to finalize everything regarding their car purchase. Right Honda was able to get an approval for Ms***'s boyfriend, *** ***,on a new Honda Civic lease. We believe at this time that both parties aresatisfied with the outcome, and this dispute has been fully rectified. As a gesture of goodwill, Right Honda also gave Ms*** a check in the amount of $500. We hope that Ms*** and Mr*** will continue to do business with Right Honda in the future, as we do value all of our customers. Sincerely,Marcy H***Business Manager Right Honda***

Unfortunately Right Honda still is not taking ownership and responsibility for the email sent by Mark L*** on behalf of Right Honda. The email clearly states "Honda will pay your remaining lease payments if you purchase or lease another Honda model
before your current lease expires or simply buy out your current lease while % are still low". The email doesn't state- if you choose the option to buy out your lease Right Honda will no longer pay the remaining months of your lease mentioned in the first line of the email. This email is unethical and a dishonest way to get people into the dealership to be bullied and talked down to by the sales department. Honda continues to put this fault on the confusion of the email and that I misunderstood what it said, however it is very clear in the email. As for the pay out price being higher than my original paperwork, I don't have a problem paying out the remainder of my lease. This was my plan all along until Right Honda staff began contacting and harassing me weekly to come in and take care of my lease, as well as tell me to come in and buy it out, "it would only take minutes." I was very clear from every interaction that I simply wanted to buy out my lease, not purchase new. When the salesperson came back he told me this was the original agreed upon amount (around $22,plus fees) and at NO time mentioned it was due to the remainder of the lease. He said this was the agreed upon amount from three years ago, it was not until I brought out my original paperwork that he had to leave, come back and then stated the difference was due to me still having months left on my lease. Again, I don't have a problem paying what I agreed upon, however Right Honda is unethical and dishonest in their sales techniques to get people in the door, dishonest in what they claim to be able to offer to get your keys and then bully and talk down to you until you are forced to become upset and leave

Our General Manager, Darrel D***, spoke with Ms*** this morning, February 22, 2017. Ms*** agreed to discuss different options. We hope to come to a conclusion that will satisfy both parties. was approved by capital one spoke with the general manager about a week agoThe bank sent loan back days later nov I never received a letter from the bank that they denied me after they approved me which by law I thought they were suppose toDealership tried to help but unfortunately couldn't resolve the problem they will be returning my down payment and extra money for the inconvenience for the carHave no other choiceNot happy with the whole situationThey tried so that's all I asked
