[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The owner of Contech Pro is just making up stories to avoid the real problem, which is that the driveway he built is of poor quality and he has failed to fix it according to the promised warrantyHe told me to not panic and that they would take care of the issues but despite making promises to come in to fix the problem, he has never showed upHe mentioned that I offered to pay $for the recoating, however this never happenedHe was the one who offered to put sealer for $saying that this will fix the bigger problem and that when his team comes to do the sealing, they would fix the other issues as wellHe is the one who mentioned this, I never asked him to do any sealingMy focus has only been on the quality of the driveway he built I have had to call him multiple times because he refuses to pick up the phone or respond to messages in a timely mannerI remember he told me that it is for his company to not pick up the phone or respond after or more daysThis is ridiculousIf you are running a company, you should be able to pick up the phone when customers reach out to youHe also mentioned once that his company is hungry for money right now and they are not able to take care of the small things like our drivewayEven though he called me and wasted 30-minutes promising that he would come by to fix the issue after I filed the initial complaint on Revdex.com, he still never came byNow, he is making up stories and twisting the facts but in the end, the truth is that he did not act with integrity and violated the terms of our agreementAs I mentioned before, my driveway is the same as my neighbor'sWe are not on a busy road nor do we twist our tires on the driveway while backing outMy neighbors and I have the same view from our driveways, there is no difference MrO [redacted] has failed over and over again to address the actual issue which is that the problems on my driveway should have been fixed under the warranty agreed to when we both signed the contract but he purposely avoided showing up to run the time out on the warranty If you are going to run a company, you need to learn customer service and sadly, that is not something that MrO [redacted] knows of I hope that he is still willing to follow through on his numerous promises to fix the driveway or I will have to take this problem to the Attorney General's office or maybe to the court Regards, [redacted] ***

To whom it may concernwe apologize for not getting back to you timely manor,the reason was we have changed our email years back and we just found out recently but I was on vacation when we got the callalso we have been extremely busy.about this issue with Mr***Mr*** contacted our firm about his driveway that we installed for him concerning about the driveway edge that was crumbling and little particles coming out of it.so I made a visit at his house to see his concern,so I found out that him or his guest where driving around the edge when they turn around in his driveway when he tried to go to a main busy road,we explain to Mrsing at the time of driveway installation that he needed to project the edge of the driveway by elevating the ground so it will have a support system.but when I looked at it to respond to his concern in April he did nothing as he was advised to do so, but he replied he does not have the funds for landscaper company to do that for him.and he asked me to com back and fix that which I told him it will happen again if he does not support that.and then he asked me to seal the driveway for him and add an additional parking area on the side of the driveway, and install stone around the side of the driveway,so I gave him an estimate of $to do that.I disagreed and he wanted me to drop the price $less,because he does not have the money.so I told him, I will drop the sealcoating job to $instead of $and I give him the stone installation for no charge,if he can be more flexible with my schedule and be more patient because we are very busy and we are seasonal businessso he agreed.so I scheduled Mr***'s job and we where ready to do the work for him, but I got a call from Mr [redacted] only the night before to cancel the job because he was not ready, which left us hanging and I had to pay my crew because it was too late to send them any where else.latter in the week I got a call from Mr [redacted] tills me that he just want to seal the driveway only for the $which it was already discounted based on a bulk deal.so I tried to be kind to him and letting him know that he has to wait until we get around it, since we are doing him a favor without any profit to the business' so he agreed.I start getting calls every week from him multiple times a week and we where extremely busy at the time, and if I don't get back with him fast enough he thinks that we are ignoring him, I explained to him that was not the case.but he does not seem to understand.now Mr [redacted] claims that his asphalt is crumblingwhich am sure due to the fact that they try to turn and twist tires in tight spots when the cars are not in motion,to face the main road, and he was explained to, that asphalt takes almost one year to fully curebut I told him I will get to his house 1st week of October to get a better idea of what is going onthis is the situation with this client, we really trying what we can, but as every thing in life we can't get perfect client%100, as we all know there is a good apple and a bad apple in every thing.thank you for your time

About the people he brought to look at the driveway who work on roads, and assume the asphalt was not hot enough, it is completely falls,Because if it was cold asphalt it will be coming out in large chunks and separate from old surface.The workers who has experience in roadway has little knowledge about residential and commercial applications, for the fallowing reasonsAOn the road way you don't twist tires in one little sections on the same spots all the time specially during curing time, so it is never a problemAll traffic drives strait. Review: Company sold and installed hardwood flooring in an improper application. Failed to advise of possible buckling because of installation on top of concrete subfloor. Has refused requests to repair floor or refund money.Desired Settlement: Undamamaged, aesthetically pleasing floor

We have installed this hardwood flooring for this client long time ago almost 6 1/2 years ago, as of 2007 , she was asked at the time if her basement has any water or moister problems , but she indicated to us that she doesn’t have any of that, so we told her the best application for basement is ceramic flooring if there is any issue with water, but she told us that she just wanted hardwood flooring to match the upstairs hard wood because she is turning the basement to be a bedroom, and does not want ceramic because it is cold in the winter.

few months latter she called us and told me she has problem with the hard wood, so I went there and discovered that she had a major leak from here toilet and the plumber was working on it to fix it.

so even though we took out the damaged part of the hard wood and repaired it for here for free.

We never heard back from the client about any issues since then until 2 week ago ( 6 ½ years later).

now she tells me that she had the humidifier up all the way for couple of days and she started to see the hard wood coming out after almost 7 years of installation, we only gave here one year warrantee just like any builder or constriction company, the client should have known better about how to protect her investment, and we believe that if the floor can survive this long it can survive long time if it was taking good care of and fallow our instruction properly.

The floor was hardwood glue on, it was installed by professional with the write glue material, and that is the only way to glue to cement slab, however if she had a water issue from her toilet , underground, or high moisture the wood will expand and buckle and brake any glue.

Sorry we will not be responsible for any damages after the warrantee has expired specially when other factors like moister and water problem is in existence.

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] never recommended tile. He assured us hardwood could be successfully installed. His facts are simply incorrect. And about this latest problem, the central air went out and without its dehumidifying effects, the floor began to ripple within three days and was buckled in 7 different areas. We believe the floor was improperly installed with no room allowed for expansion and that a glue down application was a poor choice of application in our situation. We should have been given a recommendation for a "floating" installation. We feel that it was incumbent upon the "professional" in this instance to provide the proper recommendation.

We did have a toilet leak and [redacted] did repair that, although not for free. We never expected him to do so.
