Dear Sir or Madam,We do apologize if you feel we did not notify Ms [redacted] of the past due balance. Our customer service staff left voice mail messages on 8/12, 8/13, 8/17, 8/26, 8/28, 8/30 and 9/1/2015. We also sent an email to her at [redacted] on 9/2/15 to which she responded that she had been out of town due to a death in the family, but would get the payment to us soon.  By 9/15 we had still received no payment nor further contact from Ms.  [redacted] and the account was transferred to the collection agency we use [redacted] in Oceanside, CA.  [redacted] typically will contact the client via email or phone, whichever option is effective to attempt to collect a debt. We do not know what verbiage is specifically used when they call, but have confidence in them as they have been a local business in Oceanside for many years. On 9/24/15, after receiving a notice and/or call from Merchants Credit, Ms. [redacted] contacted us to pay her account in full. She was referred to [redacted] to make the payment to them as her account was now in collection status and payable to [redacted] and not Mission Animal and Bird Hospital. If there is anything else needed from us, I am happy to send it to Ms [redacted] directly, but payment for the past due amount should be made to [redacted] directly at [redacted] Association322 North NevadaOceanside, CA 92054ph: 760-722-2156fax: 760-721-5109JohnThomas@MCAColl... /> [redacted]

[redacted]Dear Sir or Madam,In response to the complaint from Ms. [redacted]. She has an account with our hospital for medical care for her kitty [redacted], whom she adopted from the [redacted] in January of 2015. Part of our business plan is to offer a 12 month Complimentary Wellness Plan to any client that adopts from a shelter, humane society or rescue group. It is our way of commending them for that choice and ensuring that they have some assistance in keeping their new pet healthy. The plans include, unlimited visits with a veterinarian for 12 months, all core vaccinations that are needed, lab work and other wellness items.  These plans are offered to clients for $380.40 but again are donated by Mission Animal and Bird Hospital to new adopters at no charge. As part of this plan, Ms [redacted] opted to also purchase 12 doses of Revolution for [redacted] and took advantage of our monthly payment plans for this purchase. She missed one payment in February but quickly brought her account current. All was paid on time until through her July 2015 payment and then she missed her August and September payments. Our staff called and left her voice mail messages on 8/12, 8/13, 8/17, 8/26, 8/28, 8/30 and 9/1/2015. On 9/24/15, after receiving a notice from Merchants Credit, Ms.  [redacted] contacted us to pay her account in full. She was referred to [redacted] to make the payment to them as her account was now in collection status. I have attached the Wellness Plan contract that states our payment options and payment default plans. We contacted her on many occasions and were well beyond the stated 7 days when we opted to turn the account over for collections. Let me know if you need any additional information and we will gladly comply. Regards,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I never recieved any paper or notice from them or who they sent the account to I was contacted around the 27 by a man who said he was with a collection co, but why would I give out information to some company I have no idea about no paper work from. Mission bird and animal did not even say it was in collections until I came in to pay so they had plenty of time to say they were sending it to collection and I still have recieved notging from there collection company.
Regards,
[redacted]
