I filled a claim (#XXXXXXXX) on 9/14/17 to my home insurance (Frontline Homeowners Insurance, policy No. FPHX-XXXXXX) through Contenders Claims Consultants, Inc., for the damages to our kitchen and master bedroom caused by hurricane Irma of 2017.
On 12/22/17, I received a Closing Statement from Strems Law Firm and received a net payment of $3,373.71 as an undisputed payment of the claim against Frontline Homeowners Insurance.
Since the date that we filed the claim, Contenders Claims Consultants, Inc. has carried out 2 inspections of the damages on my property; the last visit was in April 2018.
At this time I have not received a resolution from my insurance company and not received the amount of the appraisal presented by Contenders Claims Consultants Inc. to my insurance company. The only information that I received from Contenders Claims is that Frontline has not received the appraisal from the contractor that was hired by them (Frontline) to do it, at this moment will be a year since we filed this claim.
I have called several times and sent emails to Contenders Claims Consultants, Inc., and have not received an update from my claim. The last time I spoke with a representative of Contenders Claims Consultants, Inc., was on 8/6/18, the person who answered my call, told me the same information again, that Frontline had not received the appraisal and that they may need a third visit to my house in order to do a new appraisal, and promised to contact the insurance company and give me an update by the end of that week, but as today 09/07/18 I have not heard from them.
We ask for your help so that Contenders Claims Consultants, Inc. can expedite the claim that resolves my problem, since more than 11 months have passed *** the incident and I do not obtain any type of resolution.

Thanks for the help with my claim,
Yesterday, 9/26/18, I received a call from Contender Claims Consultants Inc, I explained to them again that I was not willing to go through an arbitration process and not willing to present a claim for damages that were not caused to my house by Hurricane Irma.
They got back to me yesterday afternoon with a new estimation, which was contemplating the real damages and they told me that they could make the correction and present it to my insurance company, and will let my insurance company know that we were not going to continue with the arbitration process.
I called them this morning, 9/27/18, after reviewed the new estimation and we agreed to proceed with the claim.
Thanks again for your help, without you probably would never get an answer from them.
We are going to continue with the claim, now that we have the new estimation with the real damages, but for sure in the future will never work with this company again, neither recommend them.
