To whom it may concern In response to Ms *** *** complaint of not responding or no honoring Continental Foundation year warranty is completely and is without merit .1)
Response to the complaint of not responding to her calls is a little confusing , I Chris O*** a representative of Continental Foundation Restoration L.L.C,meet and spoke with Ms *** *** a few days after she called our office the meeting took place on Feb 19,with her and who I believe was her husband about a little bit of damage wood under the bathroom floor which was not in the original agreement , which was to do just what was needed for leveling of the structure, not to rebuilt the structure Upon meeting with her on Feb 19,I was informed the Ms *** *** had changed some of the wall structure in the house surrounding the bathroom which changed the load on the floor structure and caused the floor sag and settle some.Which I informed her that since she changed the load on the floor and that would probably need a new peace of 4xbeam under the new wall layout which is not a warranty problem it is new work not included in original agreement.She also told me that she had a couple of water damage floor joist under the bathroom floor that she was removing and refinishing I informed Ms *** *** that it's not uncommon to have this problem under old wet bathroom floors Again this not on original agreement that she paid me to repair.As for us overlooking damage and not bringing it to her attention , I explained to Ms *** *** that wood structurehomes that we have worked on in the past are old and have some damage to them and at the time we were working on it ,we were focused on the work thatwe where contracted to doI apologized to Ms *** *** about not noticing itBut again not a warranty issue on contracted work all in all I informed Ms *** *** that it was a small amount of work and that when I could I would have Larry come back and install a new beam for her and check the floor joist and not charge her and at that point Ms *** *** offered to cover the cost if neededI Chris O*** told Ms *** *** that I would put her on the schedule to get work done , from that time of meeting till now C.F.R has been working through it's schedule which has been slow due to weather We have all the intentions of helping Ms *** with her problem Therefore this complaint in my opinion is unwarranted , all Ms *** *** has to do is call the office or cell phonewhich she has done before and we will fix her new problem at no charge as I explained to Ms *** *** at our meeting on Feb 19,2015 Thank you Continental Foundation Restoration L.L.C Chris O***
