Review: My friend and I had bought 2 tickets to the Brooklyn Nets vs Miami Heat game 4 (5/**/2014) at the Continental Guest Services Concierge at the [redacted] on 5/**/2014. The sales associate ([redacted]) claimed these are "good seats," and we were charged $209.95 per ticket + $1 handling charge = $420.90. Upon inspecting the receipt, there is no exact section number nor row number, so how do we know these are "good seats"? The only information provided was "section 200 level", which is the upper level of the Barclays center, and by no means are they "good seats." When questioned about the section number, the associate refused to give information and when asked to cancel the order and give us a refund, they also refused (probably because Cash was the method of payment). We asked to talk to a [redacted], but was refused as well. The hotel management managed to give us the corporate phone number, but when called, the so-called [redacted], [redacted], said that they have a no-refund or exchange policy, which was not provided to us before purchase. The only option she gave us was to resell our tickets, but she will only give us the original value that they paid the tickets for, which is likely to be less than 50% of what we paid. So we are paying to be scammed? I asked to speak to her [redacted], but she refused. I told her that this is not a good business practice: giving false information to make a sale, failing to provide return policy at purchase, refusing to communicate and not providing sufficient information of the product purchased. When I said that I've been to the Barclays Center, [redacted] was surprised because she had been trying to convince me on the phone as well that these are indeed good seats and that we would be able to see "the court" when I had pointed out that we would not be able to see "the game." I have been to playoff games at the Barclays Center multiple times, and I can definitely 100% attest that these are not "good seats."Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded for a falsified product, trapping customers under their policy that was never provided in the first place and a terrible customer service. We will not be utilizing the tickets.

Guest purchased 2 seats for a playoff basketball game. Seats were full view seats, no obstructions. She wanted the seats and paid in cash. After an extended amount of time she changed her mind. As these tickets are time sensitive there are no refunds and all tickets are final. Guest was informed once she purchased tickets there are no refunds

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

What the business claimed is not true. As soon as we found out that the seats are "upper level," which we have specified we strictly do not want before purchasing, we asked for a resolution, which was refused again and again (this all happened within 1 hour; it took this long only because the sales representative refused to let us talk to her [redacted], that we had to get the hotel staff to assist us and we finally found their office phone number online). The main problem was the tickets were marketed as "middle level" seats when she was trying to sell to us, when they are in fact upper level seats (this is a BIG difference, see picture attached (level 200 is on the 2nd floor while level 100 is on the 1st floor behind the lower level). The business failed to acknowledge their mistake and take responsibility for the false information that they provided. We wanted the tickets had they been in fact, middle level seats, as was stated by the sales representative. As stated previously, the sales representative was asked to pull the seating chart of Barclays Center after purchase when we questioned about the validity of her statements. She then admitted that they are indeed upper level, not middle level, but still refused to offer any kind of resolution. We've never mentioned anything about obstructed view being a factor into the price of the tickets. The only aspect we are disputing is the level the tickets are for, which is false from the beginning.

Tickets were never redeemed for because we feel that this is based on false information that should've been resolved on the spot. We were open to other options, but business did not want to cooperate. Business made a mistake, refused to admit it and provide a solution. Again, refund policy was never informed to us prior to purchase, only when we tried to cancel the transaction.

To put it shortly, this is not because we changed our minds regarding the purchase, it is because we were provided false information that we are trying to get resolution for.
