Review: I brought a new 2013 [redacted] Odyssey with Continental Tires, ContiProContact, P235/65 R 17 103T M.S. radial Tubeless, which are rated to last 80k miles.At 34,500 miles, my tires are all worn out, and need replacement. I drive this car with my kids during the week, and its only driven between home and local schools and the supermarkets. I called Continental and they told me that had I purchased these exact tires, they would warrantied to 80k miles. But, since I purchased the CAR, (and not the TIRES directly,) and these tires merely came with the car, then there is no warranty on the tires. Yet, [redacted] told me that the tires are warrantied through the tire company.I find this totally unacceptable. The tire manufacturer must extend the warranty that would normally come with these tires and reimbuse me for having to purchase new tires so soon. These tires perform under their designated ratings. When I purchased the car I was told that these tires are rated at 80k and not 30k. These ratings must mean something and must be worth something. I paid for a new [redacted] knowing that the tires will last me a while, and not 33,500 miles.Respectfully,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like Continental Tires to issue me new replacement tires or refund me for having to go out and get new tires rated with 80k miles.

Response: This email is in response to Complaint# [redacted]. As [redacted] Mentioned in her complaint that she bought this Vehicle from the dealership. It would be the dealership Responsibility to exchange those tires, and yes those tires do come with 80k miles Warranty. However, We would like to mention that we as Continental Tire & Wheels, do not manufacture these tires, nor, do we have any affiliation with the manufacture " Continental Tire inc." It just so happens that our business name is the same as " Continental tires", but we do NOT manufacture these tires or warranty them unless purchased from our location (Continental Tire & Wheel- [redacted]).
