I attended a 40 hour training class through continuing care, driving an hour each day to become DMAS certified to work as a PCA. A certificate is promised after 90 days of employment through the company, but, 8 months later, I have yet to receive one. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to obtain a copy of my certificate, and they claim it doesn't exist, so I must be working without one on file. Not only is this a breach of contract, it is also a violation of DMAS regulations.
The PCA certificate is available. We have never claimed it doesn't exist. Please contact our Human Resources Department to arrange for pick up of your certificate.
I have been trying to "arrange a time" to get my certificate, and, every time, for some reason or another, it has been unavailable for pick up or delivery. I have my completion paper signed off by the instructor, but have not yet been able to obtain a copy of my certificate, and will not be satisfied until it is in my hand.
We need you to schedule a time to come and pick it up. We don't want to take a chance on mailing it. Please give our Human Resources Department a call and schedule a time.
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. I have already attempted to resolve my issue with the suggested approachapproaxh and believe this complaint could and would be used as grounds for my dismissal. Copying the certificate shouldn't be an issue, so I don't see how mailing it would compromise anything. I have received a couple certificates in the mail from programs completed at LFCC an accredited school, and this was never an issue
If you want it mailed, we can certainly do that. Would you prefer the original be mailed or a copy? As I stated previously, mailing an original is risky. Is the address we have on file still a valid address for you?
If it would be safer, you can mail a copy. Please provide the original certificate with my next paycheck.
As I stated prior, the safest way is for you to pick up your certificate from us. If you want the original mailed, we will do that. We will send it by certified mail to ensure receipt.
