I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I did not machine wash the bra. I did not take the credit because I did not want to spend more money to get something that I already paid $forI did not make a sceneAfter not getting a satisfactory response, I silently took the bra off the counter and left the store.Perhaps the owner has so many unhappy customers that she can't remember which unhappy customer I am.This is my first Revdex.com complaintI feel less empowered as a consumer than ever

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us and hear our side of the story. In regards to Case #*** *** *** made her bra purchase at Contours Lingerie on July 30th, and attempted to return a bra that she wore for over months that she damaged in a washing
machine on October 12th, 2016. *** had her receipt with her that showed we went over our return policy with her verbally the day of purchase by the initials on the back of the receipt. Our return policy is posted in every dressing room at eye level, posted on the cash register and printed on the back of receipts On *** bra, the under-wires were bent in multiple places on both sides and one end had pushed through the bra casing, because *** did not follow manufacturer care instructions which state, hand wash only. Even though it was past our day policy and not eligible for manufacturer repair or replacement; I wanted to resolve the issue with ***. I offered to meet her half way by extending the day policy for bras that have been worn and are not saleable by offering her $in store credit (%of the retail price) which could be applied to any item in the store. *** had purchased another bra on July 30th that she liked and was wearing. My first suggestion was to apply her store credit to another one of those, she refused and said the under-wires should hold up better. Then I suggested that she maybe consider taking a look at some less expensive wire free bras. Unfortunately, *** lost her temper and became disruptive when she did not get her way. I really wanted to help ***. As I had exhausted all possibilities, I told *** that I would honor the day policy for her until the end of October to give her time to think about her options. *** screamed at me that she needed a bra that didn't have a wire coming out. I suggested that she could continue to wear the bra until she made up her mind by sewing the 1/4" hole shut or by taking out both of the bent under-wires. *** became belligerent and verbally abusive as she ran her way out of the store in tears. Only bras that are brand new, unworn and with the tags may be considered for full price exchange or store credit within days of purchase. Adjusting to your new properly fitting bra may take up to weeks. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a bra that you have worn, we will gladly take a look at the fit to find a solution and give you store credit for 50% of the bras retail price within days of purchase. Panties, Thongs, Teddies, Shapewear, Wardrobe Solutions and Strapless Bras: All sales are final for all special occasion and all items with a crotch for everyone's safety. Bridal: Because we understand you may need to test foundations for your dress fitting, we will gladly exchange bridal basques that don't fit with your dress for store credit as long as it is in perfect, saleable condition within days of purchase. Special Events and Panties: We hope you had fun and enjoyed our hospitality! Due to the event expense, give-a-ways and discounts unique to special events, all sales are final
