The Rock is an extremely poorly managed facility.They expect to charge top prices for every thing but are poorly managed.One would think that after being open for a few years now they would have everything dialed in now.Baseball is a joke the way they run it, they tend to make a lot of promises that they don't keepWinter baseball training clinics were poor, should spend more time teaching skills than doing jumping Jacks because I can do that at home.Don't bother with season snow passes either as this is a total rip off, when I purchased passes they did not state that they would be closed for half the week,opened up late in the season and were only open about weeks this year and when they are open seems like something is always brokenSnow park manager is a complete *** *** always making excuses for their poor management, complained to him but he pretty much ignores everything and doesn't care to resolve anything.I will not be spending any more money at this poorly run establishment
The baseball fields are in great shape but its not a family friendly atmosphere at all. They allow smoking around the fields and there is typically a guy smoking a big cigar and the smoke gets into the bleachers where my wife and son sit. Also there is no place for little kids to play. There is no protective netting up top like many complexes that have 4 fields next to each other and I saw a child get hit in the head by a foul ball that would have never happened if the proper netting was in place.
While I enjoy the area up by the umbrella bar it is also not a place to bring your children. The manager, [redacted], seems to have no problem dropping the F bomb in front of customers, which included children.
