from controlfor $to upgrade my system software. They claim that the software upgrade will fix
my system I will not spend any more money
on this systemThey need to fix the system and provide a warranty if not they can just take their system back

I have worked with Ehab's dealer who is an independent authorized resellerWe have offered to upgrade his system at no cost to him through his dealer to correct the issues he has mentioned to me but will not offer any warranty outside our year hardware manufacture warrantyIf he wishes to return his product he will need to work with the company he purchased the equipment from and is subject to their return policyA Controlsystem requires an authorized dealer to support and maintain the system

I am rejecting this response because: control4 did not provide any solution. Control4 informed me that they spoke with the dealer and that the dealer will contact me. The dealer was suppose to contact me on 04 May 2015.  however, I haven't heard anything from the dealer.  I've been waiting for a week to just to hear back from the dealer, this is unacceptable by any standard.  I am very disappointed that Control4 failed to stand behind their product and  certainly refuse to take responsibility of their dealers actions...

The quote the customer requested from an independent dealer was sent May 4th 5PM Eastern.

We were able to find a new dealer for [redacted] to work with who has made a visit to the home and corrected the outstanding issues. [redacted] will let us know if there are any other issues.

I have spoken to the customer and they are requesting the dealer version of the software to self maintain their system. Unfortunately our business model requires an authorized dealer to maintain an end user's Control4 installation. There is an option for partial control of his system though our...

Composer HE software but he will only accept full control. I have offered to help find him a local authorized dealer that can help him but am unable to give him the dealer version of the Composer software or refund the equipment purchased from a dealer.
