Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Yes he did invite my husband to look at the equipment.  The fact of the matter is my tire pressure light came on immediately after leaving that car wash.  I don't know where this person got that I went to [redacted] and hit a curb.  I was no where near [redacted] parking lot.  I DID NOT HIT A CURB.  He has fabricated a theory that is a lie, because he does not want to be responsible for the damage to my pricey Jaguar tire. Believe me if I did hit a curb, I would claim my own responsibility and not blame an innocent business, but they are not innocent in this incident.  Both [redacted] and the [redacted] Jaguar said the tire was sliced with a sharp object, not a curb or anything else but from Bowtie Carwash.  It is disappointing that this businesses owner does not stand behind damages to customer vehicles.  I plan to pursue legal action to prevent other consumers the same inconvenience and $$$ that they have caused me.  I have photos and witnesses to prove this is not a "curb" accident.

In response to the customers additional information, I would like to provide this further response.
We have requested that Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] come to the Carwash so that we can show them our equipment. They have both refused to come and see our facilities. There is nothing on our conveyor that would damage a rear tire. The conveyor is encased in plastic and there are no sharp objects sticking out that could cause such damage to a tire.
We have been in business for fifteen years and have covered all customer claims for which we are responsible. However, we can not cover claims for which we are not responsible. There are any number of things that could have happened to the tire either before or after her visit to the Carwash.
In addition, the customer has claimed that the [redacted] representative and the Jaguar Dealer have said the tire was sliced with a sharp object, not a curb or anything else but from Bowtie Carwash" However, neither of these people have been to our facility and looked at the equipment in order to make such a claim. We have no such sharp objects that would slice a tire. Therefore, this had to have happened some where else.
We are happy to cooperate with you and to furnish any additional information you may need.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I have no intention of visiting the facility that damaged my tire, because of course any defective equipment that damaged my vehicle on that day would have been repaired.  They said that they have covered other claims in the past, which I'm sure they have.  Unfortunately they have never damaged a luxury vehicle with pricey tires with damages over $700.  If the damages would have been $100, this would not even be an issue.  Obviously they damaged the wrong car that day and decided they were not going to resolve this issue because of the dollar value to repair.  I am asking Revdex.com to please publish all my letters on-line, because I want any consumer that plans on using this business to know how they service customers when they damage a car regardless of the dollar value.  Please note that I am not satisfied with their response and this situation is far from resolved.

In regards to complaint ID# [redacted], our manager went out and inspected her car. He saw that she had hit or been hit on the bumper before going through the Carwash. He pointed that out to her and she said she had backed into something. Based on our managers inspection, it was his opinion that...

the bumper had been damaged prior to going through our Carwash. I have attached a picture of the sign that is located in the driving lane for our customers to see. It states that We are not responsible for any previously damaged parts of the vehicle." We do promote customer satisfaction, but we can not be responsible for previously damaged vehicles.
Sincerely,

Response:
We have spoken to both spouses and requested they come and look at the construction of the conveyor to see that this type of damage is not possible at our carwash. They have both declined to come and look at the conveyor. The conveyor has a plastic cover over the entire length of the conveyor and could not cause any damage to the driver side rear tire. The Carwash manager said she had gone to [redacted] and then came back to say the Carwash caused the damage. She could have hit a curb on either our lot or at [redacted] that caused the damage. There is no way possible that being pulled down the conveyor in the Carwash could cause this damage.
