Dear sirs:
I am writing to you in response to written correspondence I have received in regards to Case #XXXXXX regarding [redacted]. We sent a written response to you in regards to this matter.
Apparently it was not received. Ms....

[redacted] did not complete the recommended number of treatments for tattoo and laser hair removal. She was given very appropriate treatment for what she paid for as far as services go. It was recommended to her a minimum of 6 treatments at least a month apart. She paid for and completed 3 total treatments. It was clearly explained to her and consent forms were signed to document that it was recommended to her to complete a series of 6 treatments. Her results would be expected to be sub-optimal as she only completed half of the recommended treatments. She decided to quit coming to our establishment related to a disgruntled employee that quit which was a friend of hers. Ms. [redacted] was given full and very congenial treatment at my business. We do not owe her a refund of any kind.
Please contact me if you have further concerns

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 21, 2016/08/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I had already completed 6 treatments elsewhere and the tattoo was already faded. I was recommended, paid for and received 3 treatments to finish the fading. There was no further fading from the last 3 treatments.
I stopped going to the establishment when I moved to Colorado and they are aware of this. I never had any friends there and honestly have no idea what employee and situation they are referring to. This is the first I have heard of an employee related issue and is completely unrelated.
I am only disgruntled at being threatened by the staff and not receiving the product that was offered in compensation, which they offered to do when I called to report no difference in my tattoo. They offered this because I was out of state.
My treatment was less than congenial, to say the least
Final Business Response /* (4000, 28, 2016/09/06) */
The fact that Mrs. [redacted] had received 6 treatments elsewhere and still saw no results is completely out of our control. Due to the fact that we do not know what type of laser she was using before, our RN specifically mentioned it would still take another 6-8 treatments. Mrs. [redacted] did not want to pay for all 6 treatments at the time so she decided to pay for 3. Which she did receive.
When the product was offered to Mrs. [redacted] in exchange it was under the impression she had not received all 3 treatments that she paid for. After meeting with our full staff and going over her chart we had realized that this was not the case. Mrs. [redacted] DID receive all 3 treatments that she paid for. She then moved out of state and did not contact us until a much later time.
Mrs. [redacted] was not threatened by any staff member. Our RN who had treated her explained that she had received all 3 treatments. When. Mrs. [redacted] originally talked to the Office Manager she made it seem like she hadn't.
Bella Medici Medical Spa's refund policy sits right up front for everyone to read before any purchase is made. It clearly states : No refunds are made for service packages and pre-paid treatments once they are purchased.
I have also attached a copy of our refund/return policy. We do not owe her a refund of any sort.

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 30, 2016/09/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Every time Bella Medici responds there is a new, made up excuse.
The tattoo was greatly faded from the treatments at a different facility which is why we only did a 3 session package.
I never made it seem like I didn't receive all 3 treatments. I stated before the 3rd treatment that I had not noticed a difference yet so they said to see how the last one went and wait a while because it should continue to fade after the treatment. I then called to say I didn't notice any difference after all of my treatments and was offered products by them bc I was dissatisfied with the service. [redacted] and I were civil and pleasant with no issues. We were on the phone when she was suddenly interrupted and the RN got on the phone and started raising her voice, cutting me off and saying I wouldn't get anything and threatened me with a lawsuit for libel and slander for writing a negative Facebook review. I told her I wouldn't be threatened and would even edit the review to include this treatment by her.
The issue has always been dissatisfaction with the results, how long it took to remedy the situation once they said what they would do, and then being threatened by the staff. Had they told me from the first call I made that they held no guarantees and wouldn't do anything I would have understood, but to drag it out, rescind an offer and threaten me was completely out of line. Not to mention making up weird excuses about some employee and then saying I made it seem like I didn't receive the treatments.
