Review: On 3/** I had a free consultation with Mona C[redacted] regarding starting up a new business with my partner. I wanted to know what paperwork my name was on and what I am legally responsible for. At this point I had already contacted the state requesting the certificate of incorporation. Mona stated the state was backed up but for $40 she could have the cert overnighted to us. So I said ok. She was going to start putting together a letter to My partner saying that she's representing me. She charged my credit card $1000. I was planning on using her for a partnership agreement.
On 4/* I asked her if she's heard anything from the state (via email). I heard nothing. I tried calling and did not get a call back.
A week later I received the cert from the state, the one I requested on my own.
On 4/** I still never heard back from her so I sent her an email and said I would not be using her services and to please bill me for the work and credit the balance. Never heard a peep.
I tried emailing her again. Again Nothing.
This woman did maybe 15 minutes worth of work. her rate is $200/hr.
