I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], but I don't find it to my parents satisfactory! They didn't not credit the missed issues to the account and they received little over half of the subscription back. They were a less than a month into the renewal of the subscription when this problem happened. My understanding is that you're getting a discount on the price when you have home delivery. It's a shame that this company takes advantage of people like they do.

To Whom it May Concern:This is Observer Publishing Company’s response to concern #[redacted]:During the dates of 10/20-10/24 we experienced delivery challenges with the independent contractor on [redacted] due to production delays. The independent contractor had been on that route since May 2016. When...
we received the complaint on 10/24 in our customer service department, it was escalated to our Circulation Director, and the account was credited for the missed delivery days. There were no additional complaints logged in the customer’s account until a call was received on 11/7 to stop delivery. Although we made every attempt to satisfy the customer and correct the delivery issues moving forward, the subscription was permanently stopped on 11/8/2016. A full refund of the remaining subscription balance on the account was then processed and mailed on 12/6/16, addressed to the account holder. We take our customer complaints seriously, and have worked to improve delivery on this route, as well as all routes where complaints are logged.Sincerely,Rob A[redacted]Director of Sales & Marketing
