We have uploaded both pages of the damage waiver that shows member's acknowledgement of pre-existing damagesOur driver had told us that this vehicle had stalled out in the member's neighborhood and the member was basically coasting just to make it to their houseDuring that process,
they ran over the curb and that is where the damage had occurred. Our driver was told about this, but Mr.R*** never cared to mention that detail when we spoke about it and that is a big problem for us. We run hundreds of calls every week and we may make a mistake here and there which we will own up to because we are there for our members and we want to do right by them, but this is a case of somebody wanting something for nothing not to mention member's profanity once he was advised of our decision to deny the claimFurthermore, we don't appreciate somebody casting aspersions on our company by trying to get their vehicle fixed at somebody else's expense when they are the ones who contributed to itThe witnesses that the gentleman mentioned saw the same thing our driver saw: unsecured bumper coming off the vehicle which driver then tried to secure just so that he could load it.We are a preferred AAA provider in our county and have been doing it for years now, we consistently rank in top in both Carolinas among hundreds of providersWe thank you for your concern regarding this issue, but we are not second-guessing ourselves in this case.Respectfully,W***(GM)with JR Towing & Recovery.
