---------- Forwarded message ----------From: "michelle s***" Date: May 13, 9:AMSubject: I'D *** Cookie WearTo: Cc: Good morning in response to the complaint from *** *** I must say I'm quite
disappointed *** and I were friends for quite some time.We brought her jackets and tshirt into my store without making any money and when we did make sales because the purchase price is so high I had a day hold / piece she was aware of thatShe was also working with my husband at the same time and when she fired him from working with her she also got an ugly attitude with me because I wasn't promoting her brand every day on my *** page.I explaines to her that I don't have the energy nor the time to only advertise one brand in my store we decided to separate ways ..she agreed along with me and accepted payments from me of dollars a week as I purchase shoes from her as well several dozen.I have no problem paying *** but she attacked me on *** she disrespected my daughters who comments insults towards my family and my business so that being said in my years of business I've never had anyone to treat me my husband and my family in such a negative tone I push back that's all I did I refuse to jump when she said jump and I refuse to be scared of her any longer. The only time I defended myself just recently it's when in March she posted a really nasty and negative comment on my *** page and I said enough my family and I called her from several different phones and she refused to answer this was a mess.Every time she is fine with one thing the next minute she changed it around and pretend that she's not fine with it I owed *** over $I'm now only owing and dollars. She also expected me to remind her every week to send her a reminder to send me an invoice her business ethics a horrible her communication skills are not consistent she has a bully approach to business and I am NOT for it at all within the next two weeks I will finish compensating her and will never ever suggest if I will work with her again. At the end of the day my years in my history in the community of Washington DC not only Petworth stand more stronger than this situation with *** alone she has contacted friends she has reached out to certain people that I had great businesses with a ruining them by saying the things that she said this is really deep but nevertheless I know deep in my heart that it's best for me to just pay her no matter what and just move on I hope that she'll stop attacking me and my family say rude comments and saying lies.I honestly think she has an English very problem she doesn't understand English in her mind she would like to play the victim all the time nevertheless me paying her was never a problem I have emails where she agreed to it also have text messages but since the fire in my store and now we are relocating to a bigger store and the death of a family member it's just been a really rough time for us.Just know that she stated that she had no problem accepting a dollar payments then she turned around and called them miniscule she's not consistent with her business ethics she's not knowledgeable on being respectful and having patience this is not the business for her but respectfully I will make sure that the hundred and forty dollars that we owe her out of will be paid within the next two weeks and I hope that she just stays away from me my husband and my family thanks a lot.MichelleOwner of Cookie Wear

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
On 9/14/2014 I visited Cookie Wear for the first time.
On 9/16/2014 I delivered products to Cookie Wear.
On 9/23/2014 [redacted] approached me via email and asked if I would be interested to hire him as [redacted]s Chief Operating Officer.  (his letter attached)  His resume had good qualifications and I accepted his offer.
During our work together (2 months) several things happened which made me very suspicious of Cookie Wear & Family:
1. Joe asked me to present him with my company's financial information.  That raised a red flag.
2. Joe asked me to give him full list of my customers, clients, and vendors.  I was given bogus reasons such as "we need list of your clients to send invi[redacted]ons to a party we would organize for your company". I did not confront Cookie Wear and decided to go alone but be careful.  PS Party was never organized.
During our work together (2 months) none of the services promised by Joe were delivered. Joe did not bring any new business.  Joe did not generate any revenue. Please read "Compensation" portion in the attached contract which states that Joe was hired on commissions from the revenue he brings in.
At the end of two months Joe started to show anger and became intimidating toward me and my team members.  I did not appreciate it and decided to let him go.
On 11/24/2014 I send Joe an email saying that I am dissolving our contract.
On my requests for payments for sold products at Cookie Wear, I kept getting excuses and requests to wait longer. After several weeks, our email based interactions became very unpleasant. Michelle and Joe sent me intimidating and insulting messages. If necessary I will provide all of their letters.
As you can see, our relationship was purely business. Two months is not enough to build a friendship.
In regard to my business, I can provide legal documen[redacted]on if necessary to prove its legality.
Cookie Wear's reason for not paying in timely manner does not make much sense. [redacted] contract with Cookie Wear was [redacted]. Joe M[redacted] and [redacted] contract was commission based on revenue Joe brings in. Joe did not bring any revenue and I do not owe him anything. [redacted] and Cookie Wear contract is completely unrelated to [redacted] Joe M[redacted] contract.
This complaint is not about money (which Cookie Wear still owes me). It is about sharing my person experience with Cookie Wear and letting others be aware of their practices.
Regards,
[redacted]
