The "gritty" texture was the broccoli,...
which had been put through a food processor, so there would have been different textures in the soup. The soup was dated in the kitchen where state law mandates. Items only need to be dated that are put out for customers to take themselves. Food that is served to a customer requires no date.
The soup was refrigerated at 40 degrees and heated to a temperature of 140 degrees when it was purchased.
The soup was purchased by a woman for the man waiting in the car. She left the store without paying for the soup or her RX and had to be brought back in by our cashier.
The time before she came back in, with the half eaten soup, was 15 to 20 minutes after coming back in to pay for it.Had the man been less aggressive, there would not have been a need to involve the pharmacist/store manager on duty.SincerelyThe Sandwich Shoppe At Cook's
