We offered to refund the entire amount of monies paid to Cool Box as a courtesy as per their email on 5/10/Since our offer, we did not hear back from the customer until yesterday afternoon, informing us of the complaint to the Revdex.com, as well as a request for additional moneyWe are continuing to make an effort to resolve this with the customer

I have been in contact with Cool Box corporate office in Arizona. *** *** was the claims rep. After sending to pictures and them stating over and over that they were not responsible I threatened legal action. We spent $12,to replace part of the belongings and Cool Box refused to reimburse us. After several weeks they finally offered $2,which we refused. We requested the original amount of our claim which was approx$10,which was very reasonable. They refused, I then offered a compromise of $5,plus refund of the storage fees they again refused and offered $5,000. I consulted with my attorney and settled with them for $5,000. The amount does not begin to cover the loss, but a long court battle would probably have cost us even more. I would not recommend this company to anyone and would recommend that with any of the portable storage companies the consumer buy additional insurance to cover their belongings as renters and *** *** do not always cover this type of loss. This is true especially if you are moving - it is difficult to determine which insurance would be liable. The homeowners when it was stored but then cancelled when the home sold, the renters which was not in effect when the belongings went into storage and terminated the day the goods were delivered or the new homeowners insurance. I chose not to file with any of the above. Thank you for your assistance in this matter
