Cool Breeze sold us a Trane AC unit for our home some years ago and it has acted up ever since Recently (again) cold air was not circulating and we asked them to come out Repair man knew exactly what was needed (fan motor) but then refused to quote us the cost of the motor and just gave us an aggregate bill of $for the installation of the new motor [redacted] at their home office further refused to quote me a price for the motor parts (like when I have my car repaired I always know what is labor and what is for the parts) Finally we were told that the labor was hours at $hour and the rest was for parts Later I could find motors like this retailing for not more than $ I could not get the exact one because they would not tell me which it wasI feel that an exact ITEMIZED bill should have been presented so the customer can know what is being paid for and to compare prices on the motor and labor This is no way to conduct business and similar to poor Yelp reviews
So, I'm always compelled to share a good experience with my neighbors when it comes to home improvements.
Last week we called and asked about having an A/C installed; a scary prospect, but we elected to choose a company from Miami, skeptical? Yes!
They came down the very next day around noon, installed the new A/C package and were done around 4/4.30pm.
The two young men very professional & courteous; yes, there was a slight language barrier, but that didn't hinder the installation.
We chose a model, Goodman 21/2 ton 16 seer, which we know is not considered as "top of the line", however, we knew it would do the job & our home is only 1080 SF.
The unit is extremely quiet and we can only hold out for the true test during the hot summer months.
The entire package was $2300 and we couldn't be more pleased......this far, fingers & toes crossed:-)
We hope our review will help others in the area looking for an A/C unit without paying an exorbitant amount of money.
