the original membership agreement, transaction ledger, the membership notes and membership agreement cancellation screen shot.**. [redacted] called 7/1/14 and requested his membership be cancelled. After listening to his complaints, I did cancel his membership as a courtesy. The one year membership agreement was not scheduled to expire until January 2015 due to frozen 7 months, 10/1/13-12/1/13 and 2/1/14-7/1/2014. The remaining 6 contracted payments of $79 have also been cancelled, shown on the invoices and payments page attached.The membership agreement, signed by [redacted], was immediately emailed (at the email address provided us: [redacted]) upon signing on 7/1/13. Attached is a copy of the membership agreement for your review. Below I have sited key contractual agreement evidence supporting the decision made on behalf of his complaint:Page 1 reviews the membership terms:1.    Today's Date is 07/01/20132.    Agreement begins 07/01/2013 and expires in 12 months.3.    Total sales price including enrollment fees is $948.004.    Amount of Down Payment is $158.005.    Your payments are due on day 1 of each month Number of Monthly payments: 106.    Amount of each Monthly Payment: $79. First Payment Due Date: 8/1/2013.The terms of the signed agreement are stated very clearly on the first page in order to illuminate any confusion.The freezing policy, as stated in the membership agreement page 3:"Memberships can be frozen for up to 4 months at a time, but only once per any 12-month period. Freezing will extend your term, but you will still be obligated to pay your invoices as per your original Agreement once freeze period has expired. A fee of $15 per month will be assessed for freezing a membership." **

Review: After returning to my home from active military service last year, I tried the UFC Gym in [redacted], PA. The gentlemen who worked told me that if I joined that I could cancel my membership at any time. After a few sessions, I stopped going and after two months of not using the gym because I frequent travel for work, I tried to cancel my membership but they would let me out of the contract of $79.00 per month. In February of 2014 they finally froze my membership for 15 a month. I called to have my post October 2013 funds returned since I verbally told them that I wanted to quit the gym but they refused.Finally on July 1, 2014, a year later they let me out of my contract but the owner was incredibly rude and told me that she doesn't recognize verbal contract despite the fact that when I joined they told me explicitly that I could quit any time.I would like to report these charlatans and attempt to get money owed to me since November 2013. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like my fees returned, a complaint filed, and a written apology from the owner.
