Review: Paid $800 to conduct estate sale when townhouse was sold. Most items were taken out of the house without consent. We were told the items were being priced to sell. At the conclusion was only given $3,000 for entire contents that included furniture, China, clothes, crystal books, collectibles, etc.. Estimated total of items taken is at least $50,000. We were given small amounts of money at random times that added up to $3,000. When asked where the remainder of the money was for the contents of the house [redacted] said it was donated to the firemans fund. We were mailed a false receipt for the donation. We did not authorize the donation or the removal of all the household items.When Mr. [redacted] called and confronted her about where the money was for all his household items she cried and hung up the phone. To date we have not heard back from [redacted] or received any money. She took advantage of my 87 year old father in law who just lost his wife.Desired Settlement: We want all the household items back and if items were sold we want the money they received from the sale of all the items.
