Review: I am lodging a complaint against [redacted], owner and his partner [redacted] for failing to complete renovations at my home. It has been over two years since the punch list was handed and faxed to both contractors. Repeated phone calls and text messages have been ignored. They were paid in full for the job only out of courtesy to [redacted], New York City Firefighter. They guaranteed that all punch list items would be performed, they have not. The work to be completed is as follows: 1. Hallway coat closet floor cut short needs replacing or repair. 2. Basement closet door handles are wrong design was told [redacted] hand them but were never replaced. 3. The scraping and painting of all original heat registers was agreen upon but never done, main bathroom register was to be replaced with orginal register and was not. 4. Wood was cut short on a custom made oak stairway leading to basement. 5. Agreed to caulk around base of home, that was not done. 6. Basement windows were not caulked from the outside creating a leak. 7. Front yard was to to be newly sodded. 8. Banister in basement has brass fitting not black. 9. Dishwasher not installed correctly which is preventing kitchen drawer from closing properly. 10. New attic insulation was installed covering venting pushing carbon mononxide into basement near water heater. 11. He never gave any warrenties, nor names of any subcontractors used for services. I have requested same too many times to mention. [redacted] said he will not complete punch list items. I was instructed to speak to [redacted] . I have tried and tried to contact [redacted] via telephone, messages and text with no results, he always has excuses. So far at my own expense, I have had new sod installed in front yard and caulking around base if home. .Desired Settlement: I want the punch list items finished as they were paid in good faith for services. I had a major renovation done at my home and am still not satisfied. I want it done as soon as possible. They were paid and I am still unsatisfied

Review: In 2010 I had a 2nd story addition added to my house and paid Cool Runnings ([redacted]) to install 2 NEW air conditioning units for central air in my home. Cool Runnings installed 2 units, one unit for my 1st floor and one unit for my 2nd floor. I have been experiencing problems with the 1st floor air conditioning unit every since it was installed. The room temperature never cooled and we called cool runnings to come and check the problem in the beginning of 2011, we were told that everything was running fine and to just lower temperature and give it a week. Then we called another air conditioning company (Breezin) who said everything seemed to be hooked up right but they coundn't figure out why we weren't getting the temperature to cool . We changed all the air vents thinking maybe that was the problem...but it wasn't . On March 2014 we had some electrical problems with the breaker shorting out from the air conditioning unit. The electrician told us that the problem was that the 1st floor unit was a deteriorated old unit that needed to be replaced , that the electronic components of the air conditioning unit was shorting out the circuit breaker The electrician said that the disconnect was brand new but the unit IS OLD.....We NOW know that Cool Runnings gave us one new unit and ONE OLD unit and we PAID for 2 NEW units to be installed..Desired Settlement: We would like to have the old unit that we were given removed and replaced with a NEW unit that we were supposed to receive and that was PAID for in Full in 2010. We have checks to show proof of payment to Cool Runnings to prove they were the company who provided the work and installation.
