My husband called this business because it was late afternoon before we realized our AC had quit working. They sent a young guy late in the day. He was here for about 1 1/2 hrs. We paid. He left. We figured it would take some time to cool down the house as it had been off for a while and was a very hot day. The AC never worked. My husband called our regular AC repair guy and he had it up and running in no time. We asked First Response for some of our money back and they refused. We don't understand why we had to pay the full price when he didn't fix anything. Lousy way of doing business.

yes we sent out one of our EPA Certified technicians that is also registered with the state of Texas to their home after hours at a regular call out rate. The technician will not be discriminated by age for he is over the age of 21 and well qualified to do the work he is certified to do. This age discrimination that the customer is unsung is uncalled for and unacceptable and will be filled on accordingly. The customer is making false accusations about us refunding any funds. We tried to come to an agreement with the customer to refund the money for the part and get our part returned to us. The customer denied the cash back and was not willing to return the part that was used in the repair in the system. The customer called us and paid us, they should have called us back so we would have been aware that it still was not cooling and then we would of had the opportunities to deal with any other issues they may have had. This customer has also posted a review on our social media page referring age discrimination of our technician. Our attorney will be in contact with this customer in regards to the age discrimination posted on our social media. The technicians attorney will also be contacting this customer for the technician is upset with the age discrimination as well.
