Review: I contracted with [redacted] to repair and fabricate a floor furnace for the unit@ [redacted] Ave. He removed an external vent pipe, then told me he couldn't proceed with the rebuild of the furnace, because some part was missing. He asked thatI search for (or that he could). I told him the contract states he is to fabricate/rebuild the furnace, notfor me to find the part. I initially paid him $575 in cash to begin the work. When it wasevident he'd go no further, I asked for a refund. He said he'd charge me $175 for removing/disposing of the vent pipe. We negotiated $175 for work done; and I asked for a refund of $400. In the meanwhile, I found the name of his partner "[redacted]" 714-412-9593, who answers the phoneconsistently. When I asked for my refund, she alternately told me a parter of [redacted] embezzled $180,000.00 from him by starting jobs, taking the money and not completing the work(Sound familiar?). Also I was told, at times she'd have to"Check with [redacted]". I called numerous times asking for $100 on account, asking that [redacted] contact mein order to update/arrange for payment. This began on 11/1/13; and, I've not been refunded any money at all. It's very apparent this company, "CoolTech", is a front for fraud and misrepresentation. Certainly they could have offered something, even as a partial refund!Desired Settlement: I want my $400 refunded in cash, as I gave to [redacted]. Since his license is expired,I'd like him to be prosecuted/fined for operating without a license, defrauding, and misrepresenting himself as a legitimatebusiness.

I rec'd. a call from [redacted]....she said she had $400 for me..asked me to call her in the AM. I did so, and I drive to the place in Tustin. She was out walking the dog, but "[redacted]" was there - brought me four 100$ bills, asked me if there was a furnace in place. Was cordial, but no apology for contracting for something which he did NOT complete!!! I would NOT recommend them to be a dog catcher!!
