Horrible Condition Eyeglasses Frame And Service
On June 11, I ordered a pair of eyeglasses frame with non-prescription
lenses for 129.00$ CAN shipping included from CoolFrames.com.

On June 22, when I received the order, I noticed the frame was scratched
and the lenses were covered of dirt and fingerprints.

On June 23rd, I return the glasses and asked them for a refund. They didn't follow
their refund and exchange policy, they withheld a 20% restocking fee. I shipped
the glasses to this address : 2907 Ocean Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11235, USA.

Out of curiosity, I pasted this address in google to take a look of their building.
I found out that it was an eyewear store named Ocean Eye Optical. The owner is
Lee Weissman, the same owner of CoolFrames.com.

On June 28, I contacted Lee Weissman to deal directly with him.
So, from him, I ordered the same eyeglasses but this time without
the lenses, for the price of $137.00 CAD shipping included.

On July 25, when I received the package, I was surprised to find, again,
that the frame was scatched and the lenses, which I didn't order this
time, were dirty. I believe they sent me the same eyeglasses, lenses included,
which I returned to Coolframes a few weeks earlier, on June 23rd.

Moreover, rather than billing me 137$ CAN, he charged me 187$ CAN, claiming
that the agreed amount was 137$ US

In August, I called my Mastercard and asked for a chargeback.
I was informed that I should try to come to an agreement with the seller
before a charge back can take place.

He ordered a new frame from his distributor. He wanted to send it to me on
the condition that I drop the chargeback, which I refused and the chargeback
took effect soon after.

I tried by all means to come to an agreement with Lee Weissman but he didn't
want to understand anything, he is irrational.

Lee Weissman ownes CoolFrames.com and Ocean Eyes Optical and both business
share the same address. This man is a fraud, a crook of the worst kind.

I am glad to have this matter brought to my attentionof course the processing fee will be waived and the monies spent on shipping to us for a redo will be refunded as wellwe received the return today and have begun to redo the lenses and ordered a new frame that we were asked to exchangethe entire process should not take more then days or sowe will then [redacted] at our expense the finished new frame with the smaller size and new color overnightwill will make the Optical Center adjustment to as requested by Valgenerally the optical center is placed on single vision lenses half way up the lens depth in this case 14mmwe will make the change to 21mm as e have been asked to doi have noted the account to show a refund request of the shipping to us, say $i would guess and if more please let me know and to ship the order overnight to Val once complete Lee WCF.com

[redacted] placed an order for a pair of Coach eyeglasses with us April **, the frame was not Available in our USA warehousewe ordered the frame in from Italyit usually takes about weeks to get it from there [redacted] was offered a 5% discount for the wait which she exceptedMay *** [redacted] called and asked for us to cancel the order as it was taking too long for us to receivewe apologized and cancelled the order refunding it in fullweregret not filling the order and hope [redacted] gives us a chance in the future

DO NOT BUY THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY - they do not actually want to honor itI thought this would be a reputable dealer that would work with customers - THEY ARE NOT, they expect an extended warranty (which normally deals with parts) to be the same as Mfg warranty (exchange the whole frame) with the customer having to return the broken one (which in my case was my only pair of glasses) for repair (as if it was going to be sent back to the manufacturer)Normally, dealers carry parts (e.gnose bridge) which they can work with the customer to exchange for the broken oneTHESE PEOPLE DO NOT WORK WITH THE CUSTOMER, so the $you spend on the 2nd year of warranty is MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN (or into their pockets)

[redacted] purchased a frame from my store last yearit was returned to us broken and as we were unable to replace the frame originally purchased last year the manufacturer advised us they would provide a different frame of equal value as replacementany frame even a few dollars more I would be more then happy to provide as replacementmy staff [redacted] and [redacted] have instructed [redacted] via email and phone of what options exist -- [redacted]

this is insulting, we are an optical store in NYC for the past yearsto say the frame is fake is not only insulting, but 100% wrongwe do not have to but if the customer likes we can offer proof of purchase to them with their name on an invoice for this product from Tag Heuerif the frame is not to the liking we can replace it or change the style altogether, but we do not offer refundslenses are 100% essilor transition graphite green with crizal Prevencia a premium product made to order for this unique jobwith all that said I am here to help and make sure that the end my customer is satisfiedif need be we can replace the frame for a different style or return this frame for replacement if the original was not satisfactory

Really horrible experience with coolframes. I purchased a pair of eyeglass frames from them. Firstly it took two weeks to get to me and when I got the frames, they were badly warped. Upon contact with coolframes staff, they were unapologetic and rude. They suggested that I bring it to my ophthalmologist and get them straightened! I decided to return the damaged frames and not only did I have to pay return shipping but also a 20% restocking fee since I did not want a replacement. Absolutely ridiculous and their return policy is not clear especially when it comes to goods damaged where they are at fault. Very disappointed and hopefully this review can prevent others from having the same experience.

The picture attached is evidence that Tag's imprinting technology wasn't used for these glasses, because the imprinting is not clearFurther, the certificate can easily be reproduced, so this alone isn't evidence of authenticity.

we thank our customer for the purchase of the guess frame, we did initially receive the wrong color and it took us days to finally get the correct oneunfortunately it did take us about days longer to ship this package then usual, we did finally ship the frame using a faster ship method then

Order placed late on May ***we began the order with getting the frame and lenses ordered to our storeon the 21st customer filed a dispute with *** our online payment processorthe glasses were ready to ship the next day, but we do not ship while there is an active disputewe asked via
phone and emails to remove the dispute in order to ship the completed orderinstead the customer complained that he never got the orderwe told *** and him that he did not have the order because an active dispute existed and that is what is delaying the shipmentorder was never shipped and customer was refundedif the glasses were a priority the dispute would be removed and order would have been shippedwe regret it did not work out.
