I started processing the motor vehicle paperwork with the [redacted] not NJ DMV as the customer lives in *** I was informed by the [redacted] title and motor vehicle service that the address on the license and actual address was a mismatch Customer was informed that they had to change driver's license and once that is changed we can complete the title and registration for this transaction In regards to the repair issues, the customer and I came to an agreement to adjust the selling price to accommodate the desire to preemptively repair the timing chain

I am rejecting this response because:The representative from *** *** *** *** received the necessary updated information as of Thursday March and guaranteed the process be finalized that dayI was then guaranteed by this same representative an updated copy of the application of ownership form as it is a part of my contract, updated registration, license plates, and proof of a title by Friday March It is now March and I still have yet to receive any of these listed items promised to meIt is to my understanding that it is the responsibility of the dealer to provide these materials within a day time span from the date of purchaseMy temporary tags provided on the purchase date of the vehicle of Feb have expired as of March 5.

To the best of knowledge the plates and registration are being picked up at ** motor vehicles today, 3/15, by the *** title agency.This 3rd party vendor handled the work for *** *** in respect to the title, plates and registration matters in ** as we are a NJ dealer and do not handle out of state registrations..I have been told and reconfirmed with *** *** that most of the delay has been caused due to inaccurate address and name registration as provide by customer (*** ***).The agent at *** has been communicating with *** *** and has had difficulty getting a prompt response in order to expedite this matter.To make matters worse there was a state of emergency yesterday 3/and all motor vehicle services in ** were closed.I have tried to offer any assistance that I am able to, but can not be in control of matters that are out of my hand.God willing the plates and registration will be overnighted to *** *** today

I am rejecting this response because:The title agency has been given the same form of contact as the dealer to communicate with me in regards to any updatesI have not been contacted by way of email from the title agency since this complaint has been madeBeing that the title agency stated that they would finalize the process as of Thursday March 10, it is unclear and conflicting in previous responses as to what the further delay is due toIf the registration, title, and plates were finalized as of March 10, the recent snow blizzard of March should have had little interference in this processTo rectify the problem at hand, I am requesting an overnight delivery by way of shipping including a tracking number for an updated copy of the application of ownership form as stated previously, a copy of the title as promised by the *** title agency, registration and license plates
