In reference to the complaint filed on 2/16/by Ms [redacted] :The incident that happened on 2/15/17, per our lease would be consider a civil matter The police were called to the property but we were told that no report would be filed Officer Armstrong with Mocksville Police Department stated that he went and talked with the magistrate judge who instructed him to not file any charges against the resident accused of putting dog feces on Ms [redacted] ’s carHad charges been filed, we would have issued a lease termination against the person that was accused of putting the feces on the carCooper Creek Heights Apartments is a pet free property The only animals that are allowed are service or companion animals and they must be approved through a reasonable accommodation request processMs [redacted] has received a lease violations because she has an unauthorized petShe was given a reasonable amount of time to request and return the needed documentation to the leasing office, which she failed to comply(Please see the attached copies of the lease violations)Ms [redacted] has also violated her lease in respect to the parking policy and also by having an unauthorized occupant living at the propertyMs [redacted] failed to rectify the violations and has been issued a day notice to vacateIf she voluntary moves by 3/20/no further action will be requiredShe will at that time only owe rent from 3/1/through 3/20/and for any damages to the apartment If she fails to vacate on or before 3/20/2017, legal action will be taken for possession of the apartment as pursuant to North Carolina tenant landlord laws

Had charges been filed, we would have issued a lease termination against the person that was accused of putting the feces on the car. Cooper Creek Heights Apartments is a pet free property.  The only animals that are allowed are service or companion animals and they must be approved through a reasonable accommodation request process. Ms. [redacted] has received a lease violations because she has an unauthorized pet. She was given a reasonable amount of time to request and return the needed documentation to the leasing office, which she failed to comply. Ms. [redacted] failed to rectify the violations and has been issued a 30 day notice to vacate. If she voluntary moves by 3/20/17 no further action will be required. She will at that time only owe rent from 3/1/2017 through 3/20/2017 and for any damages to the apartment.  If she fails to vacate on or before 3/20/2017, legal action will be taken for possession of the apartment as pursuant to North Carolina tenant landlord laws.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me  as long as the following stipulations are met and put into writing.   -No derogatory remarks are submitted to the credit bureaus or placed on my credit file.  -I am not liable for the rent from 3/21/17-4/30/17 and this will end my tenant lease with this company.
