Cooper Fence will not return to fix issues with our fence that have been problematic since installation.
Sept 2019-my wife and I placed a 50% deposit ($3,315) for a fence to be installed @ our home. The fence was installed between 10/22/19 & 11/4/19, I unfortunately do not know the exact date. However, on 11/4/19, I made *** fence aware of concerns I had with the installation. They consisted of unevenness @ the corner of the 8' gate, misalignment of the latch on the 4' gate and looseness of it's vertical mounting post, poor installation of a section of fence adjacent to the 4' gate & a section of fence between two house pilings, concern about a section of fence that was not tight to another house piling and concerns with the cleanliness of the jobsite upon completion (trash, debris over entire jobsite and quickcrete footprints in my carport.
11/13/19-Cooper fence communicated the repairs have been addressed. On 03/27/20, I contacted the salesperson, ***, with Cooper fence regarding concerns of the 4' gate latch and vertical post looseness. I stated, "Good day ***, need to reach out and request service on the fence your firm recently installed. the gate in the carport is sagging and the latch is not aligning. What is the warranty on your work?" He responded with *** Cooper's, Owner, direct cell number. Strange to me, so I asked if he was no longer with Cooper and his response was "Correct Not since 12/12. Take Care"
Upon learning this, I contacted ***. On 03/30/20-I sent a video to *** at his request to show my concerns. Later that morning *** responded with "Got it . I'll get someone by there to fix . What it hit by something ?" My response was "not at all" "used strictly as a ped gate" he responded with a thumbs up and stated "OK we will take care of it"
04/14/20, I contacted *** stating that "no one has been by thus far for the gate repair, please advise". His response was "I have someone coming by in the morning"
04/20/20-I contacted *** stating "Good afternoon ***, no one has shown up thus far" His response was "OK I will check on that ."
04/23/20-I contacted *** stating "Good morning ***, what is the status on the warranty work on my gate? When will someone by here to fix it?" No response from ***
05/04/20-I contacted *** stating "Good morning ***, still haven't heard from anyone nor seen anyone fix my gate. What is the status please?" His response "Ok I will check on this" My response, "it's been a month since requesting you help with this...." No response received from ***.
06/11/20-I contacted *** stating "***, not sure why your not standing behind your install. After my last text, your office called me and opened a work order...well that was May 4th and no one has yet to come by. Please send someone." ***'s response "I apologize I surely thought it taken care of . Let me check" My response, "It has not been taken care of"
06/12/20-I contacted *** stating "No one has shown up to repair my gate. My patience have worn out. I have been extremely understanding, but this has got to STOP."
06/20/20-I tried to call the office, no answer, so I contacted *** stating "I received a call on Jun 15th from your office stating that someone would be by to fix my fence today. ***, I am filing a claim with the Revdex.com and the AG's office. This is ridiculous. Apparently you have so much work you don't give a $&!for recommendations nor returning customers." His response, "Tough guy on a Saturday night" " I will also be filing a claim for harassment and slander" My response, "Not at all, your office told me they would be here today." I have been waiting for 2 months" "Almost 3" His response "Do you think you can just personally harass me on my personal cell phone on sat night because I own the company. You have sorely underestimated me ." My response, "I waited until dark to give you the benefit of the doubt."
*** called me, told me to be a man & that I needed to stop talking. I then hung up. He then harassed me by calling me 14 times in 7 mins.

Desired Outcome

My wife and I wish Cooper fence to stand by their installation and correct the misalignment and secureness of the 4' gate and mounting post, so that it will last as designed.
