spoke with Jordan the adjuster and at that time either insurance company has accepted liability. Mr. [redacted] insurance company was Travelers Insurance. We received an electronic claim assignment from Travelers Insurance on 6/29/16 at 10:06 am. We downloaded the pre-written estimate from Travelers and Mr. [redacted]’s vehicle was marked Vehicle In 6/29/2016 @ 11:44 am. Being that Mr. [redacted] had a pre written estimate from Travelers we proceeded with repairs per the Travelers estimate. We logged a note that the customer already had a check from Travelers Insurance on 6/30/16 at 4:59 pm. When Mr. [redacted] came to pick up on 7/7/206 @ 5:30 he had $500.00 deductible due and had being that he already had a check from Travelers for $1920.37. Totaling the Repair Costs at Travelers Estimate to $2420.37 At some point Mr. [redacted] had to tell his insurance company that he was having the vehicle repaired at our facility because they sent an electronic copy of the assignment to us to download. SEE ATTACHMENT. They also gave us instructions to pre-order parts and who to contact if there was any supplemental repairs or parts. I also attached the ORIGINAL Travelers estimate written on 6/14/2016. Mr. [redacted] is claiming we never had any contact with his insurance, which is not true.I am confused as to what his actual complaint is being we repaired the vehicle per Travelers Insurance Claim that he filed. Our estimates are only estimates and are voided once a claim is filed with another insurance carrier or if there is a field estimate conducted.
