Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Jeremy M [redacted] is not telling the truth hereWhen I took the motor in the first time, it was idling very fast and he told me that it needed a new thermostat and fuel filter and he charge me about $even if it still under warrantyThis motor is only a few months old at that timeI had help then with a fisherman that I know which he offered to help because he knows about my medical conditionI had told Jeremy about my medical condition then when I bought it, and mentioned it again to him the second timeI needed help from them because I cant do it alone, but they insisted that I have to bring the motor to them to see what was wrong with it.( Please see attch of Medical Record ).I asked him to help me and that's when he blew up.I'm not supposed to be lifting anything heavy like I told him before due to (Heart Condition) and I didn't want to argue with him because of the stress that's why I was abrupt and just told him I'll contact the Revdex.comHe also lied about me saying filing a complaint to Revdex.com about a car, I honestly don't know what he is talking about.This people are very known to argue with their customersI contacted Y marina a Marine dealer across the street to see if they could do service on itI talk to a salesman name [redacted] and he ask me why I didn't take it across the street to Coos Bay MarineI told him that all they want to do is argue with meHe then told me that he has experiences with them and he didn't want nothing more to do with them because they were famous for arguing with customers [redacted] was a customer of Coos bay Marine and he had a Very bad experience with them as well.Just for the record, I'll never buy another motor from them nor would I recommend their services to anyone.Very Bad experience! I am sorry you feel this way We are more than happy to look at the hp Honda to see if there is any manufacture defects Please call and schedule a time for you to bring the motor in to us so we can get this issue resolvedThanks

I am rejecting this response because: Jeremy M[redacted] is not telling the truth here. This motor is only a few months old at that time. I had help then with a fisherman that I know which he offered to help because  he knows about my medical condition. I am rejecting this response because: I would like Coos Bay Marine to take this motor back. It continuously has problems.They can depreciate it which I would hopefully be done honestly and fairly. I've done my research and spoke with a Salesman from Y Marina across the street and I know what the fair value is.My Doctor has told me to avoid situation like this at all costs due to my Heart Condition. There is too much tension and animosity associated with this, and this business.  I am not going to die or end up in the hospital because of this.My solution is... Take the Motor back, refund my money and I will take my business elsewhere where it is appreciated, and they will never hear from  me again.Just having to go through this is very stressful to me.Thank you.

To our knowledge we have no records on either an invoice nor work order of any kind charging for a repair on this motor.  It sometimes is necessary to adjust an engines carburetor idle speed after the break in period, which we have never charged any customer for.  The only charge for...

repair that could have happened would be for contaminated fuel or a burnt up water pump (from running without water) which is not covered by warranty.  Like I said we have no repair order record on file. The explanation of medical reasons for not being able to remove the motor was not mentioned, other than it was hard to remove the motor where it was located.  I (Jeremy) tried to get an explanation from him of what was wrong with the motor, and what I (Jeremy) received was that he wiggled the thing under the motor to tilt.  Then he said he was going to just turn us into the Revdex.com like he had done in the past with a car.  I then tried to talk to him again about the problem and said we would have to see the motor here in order to fix the problem if one existed.  He then replied if you want to see the motor we would have to go down to the  bay and get it ourselves.  At that point I did ask my brother Chris if he could help me with [redacted] before I blew my top since he would not get my point of we need the motor here to fix a problem if it had one.  The only response I got was him being very abrupt with me.  Chris went up to ask him what the problem was and he said never mind he would turn us in to the Revdex.com.  As far as 3 people  arguing with him, that is false.  I(Jeremy) was the only one talking with him at that point.  I (Jeremy) was a loss of words so I proceeded to put books away that I was working on before he came in to the shop.  After [redacted] said he was going to turn us in to the Revdex.com, I (Jeremy) told him again that we need to see the motor in order to figure out what he said was wrong with it.  Coos Bay Marine, Inc. has been in business for many years and we have always gone above and beyond to help people out.  That is how we have such a good reputation.  [redacted] was very unreasonable and as I (Jeremy) said, we have no record of the motor ever being repaired.  The only invoice we have is for the motor purchase.  If [redacted] would like to bring the motor into our shop we would be happy to see what is wrong with it and do the repairs if needed.  As for it is impossible for us to repair his motor if we do not have it here to see it.  Thank You, Jeremy M[redacted]
