In answer to your letter of April 20, 2016, our records show that L[redacted] was a member in good standing for the year 2015 starting as soon as we received his dues payment. Our renewal application that must accompany the dues payment says twice in bold type that “if a self-addressed, stamped...
envelope is not included, your card must be picked up in person at the monthly meeting.” I have included a copy for you. This has been our policy since before Mr. A[redacted] first joined in January of 2013.I am sorry he failed to do so and therefore did not avail himself of the use of the range as was his right as a member. As a gesture of goodwill on our part, we will extend his membership through the year 2016.
