1/7/17. Snow Storm. This call occurred on 1/7/17 at 5 pm. Dispatched by [redacted] Police for an Accident; car in ditch. Arrived to find a Mercedes in a ditch. The tow truck driver recovered the vehicle to the shoulder of the highway and awaited payment. The police requested the parties to move...

off the slick highway to procure payment and the vehicle owner and our driver moved into a Stewart's Drive In. Upon arrival in the Drive-In, Mr. [redacted] flashed his cell phone at my driver and told him this was his payment- his wife's credit card number on a text. We never accept any credit card without 1. the owner of the card and 2. the actual card itself. So our refusal to take his wife's credit card off a cell phone text was warranted. He proceeded to get nasty with our driver at which point our employee called the owner. The Township rates are posted online for anyone to access. The rates change January 1 every year. As this happened on the 7th, we hadn't updated the new rates and changed them from $166 + tax to 176.30 which was winching + tax. This job, including police involvement for payment, took 2 hours. We did not get paid for 2 hours of our time. The threat to tow Mr. [redacted] car came from the [redacted] Police when he refused to pay the fees. No racial slurs were exchanged but our employee did get cussed at and there did need to be police involvement in order for us to get paid our fees. You can call [redacted] PD or [redacted] PD for verification of the facts stated. As it turned out, Mr. [redacted] finally produced a credit card-in his own name- that he had on his person the whole time.

A lot of this information is false yes you can contact the [redacted] Police Department and the [redacted] Police Department for them as they both responded to the scene however [redacted] Police Department is the primary who will have detailed reports on exactly what happened on this day. Racial slurs were were made and a police report was give into me a police report was made the same day at the [redacted] Police Department for the threats and exact quote of what happened on that day. The township of [redacted] do not have anything to do with fees and tow companies it is not posted on their website please contact [redacted] Police Department to verify this information as this information was already requested and ask from the police officer on the scene and who stated that they do not control fees for tow companies that they contract with. This was not an accident this was a car parked on the side of a shoulder and the passenger front and rear wheel was in the drain. The wheels spun around but could not get out.  The car was half on the shoulder and half in the drain. There was no wrenching necessary as anyone would know who owns a Mercedes. The cars have special hooks for pulling. Mercedes is built that they have a special attachment on the back of underneath th0e car that makes it easier for their cars to be tow if needed.l also attached that they  have two separate receipts one for  who knows and another one the produced for the police. The prices kept changing one price was quoted while the officer was there another price was quoted when the officer left can he address this as well? [redacted].  Why was all these different prices were quoted?  75, 125, and 150?Why were there 2 different receipts?Prices are not at the township of north Brunswick as they don't make up fees.[redacted] police states they are overwhelmed with all the complaints from this tow company I would like my 101.30 refunded.
