On behalf of the current owners I am to inform you that [redacted] whom this e-mail is addressed to, and any of his company's, Beech tree corp, and more have been foreclosed upon. The current Ownership is in no way responsible for any liabilities attached to the former owners.

As we are sorry for the disappointment this must cause we must be consistent in this approach. There are no Records for us to verify any of these claims.

Again I am very sorry to have to communicate this message in such fashion.

I am rejecting this response because:

The business operates under the same name addressed on my gift card. If they benefit from the name of Copper Beech Inn, they should take all responsibility for issues that arise from the name regardless of who currently owns it.

Review: We booked a room with two beds for March 28 and 29. We received a call asking why we didn;t show up last weekend. We replied that the reservation is for this coming weekend. The manager said sorry, you don't have a room. We countered that we do have a reservation, for room with two beds. His reply: haven't you ever made a mistake? I said yes, but I try to rectify it. He was quite rude. He offered a room with one bed. When we said that two of us need one bed each, he offered a cot. He was very rude, accused us of reserving and canceling three times before, which is a lie. Then told us that he was very busy and didn't have time for this. Obviously, he represents his place with the worst customer service possible and his ability is limited to make reservations.

We have taken vacation days from work, purchased theatre tickets and concert tickets for the two days we were stay at the Copper Beech Inn, so we are out a lot of money. Further, they did not clarify if they had charged our credit card erroneously for last weekend. Isn't it strange that they wait until Wednesday to find out why we didn't arrive on Saturday? I think they just found their error and are not customer service oriented to be honest and find an equitable arrangement.

They never offered a discount, another time or any option that would make up for this loss. I will not recommend this place every again and will not stay here. To admit the mistake and not try to rectify it or provide compensation is criminal. Please take action.Desired Settlement: Refund room, play tickets and concert tickets, costing $50. Still want complementary dinner tickets and breakfasts.

To whom it may concern, No monies were charged to the guest. A room of superior category was offered to the Guest. The room reservation was made for the week prior in a Standard room with two twin beds. Unfortunately this room is not available for this weekend as we only have one room that offers two beds in the room. The super Deluxe room that was offered had a King size bed. The guest insisted on a room with two beds. The inn offered to put either a roll away twin size bed or a full size blow up bed in the room but guest refused. we can not refund money that was never charged. We would still be happy to welcome this guest this weekend or any other and continue to offer the best possible experience to our Guests.
