We sent the patient the information that same day as requestedWe charge no records feeWe sent a letter addressed to her home with details of her last exam, and a personal letter addressing why we were unable to complete her cleaning that day
It had been nearly two years since
her last cleaning and she would require additonal periodontal treatment, which we we were unable to schedule in the limited two week period before her insurance contract expiredThe letter was metered, postmarked, and sent that afternoon, 3/7/The letter also included details of any areas we were watching as well as future treatment needed
We have re-sent the email containing the past x-rays to the patient and her new dental officeWe changed the file format of the pictures so there should not be any issues in transfering this time
We respectfully request that this complaint be dismissedWe strive to provide our patients with the best care possible and treat them professionallyWe emailed and mailed via *** the information to the patient the day that she requested itThe letter should have been received within a two business day periodOccasionally, issues occur with emailing large files of x-rays, and that was recently resent with a different file format
We strive to keep an open communication with our patients and feel this would have been best handled by calling our office and stating this information had not been received verses filing a complaint with the ***
