I contracted for a local move in July I contacted the company after the move was completed the very next day because of issues with the move The move was to include providing wardrobe boxes for me to pack my hanging items I requested a few extra of those cartons when I paid the deposit for the move When the movers arrived, they DIDN'T have any of the wardrobes as promised The mover did then take the moving blankets and placed my hanging items in them and "folded" the blankets over the items This move broke five of my plastic hangers In addition, I call the very next day because of how the movers "stacked" the boxes The boxes were stacked floor to ceiling (and I am 5'2"), so it would be impossible for me to get to those items to unpack At that telephone call, I requested the form to submit the claim because of the damage sustained by the movers I again requested that information about weeks later I never received the information on how to file a claim un

Worst moving experience of my life, and most unprofessional moving company I have ever dealt with Here is a rundown of my experience My television is two years oldIt has only been moved once, in its original box which I saved and provided to the moversI asked them to please use it and they told me NO TO MY FACE- that it would be easier to wrap it in a blanket and strap it down in the truckGo figure they BROKE the stand, and I even pointed out the minute we arrived at the destination that the tv was crookedAll three movers agreed that it looked crooked and attributed it to screws that loosened in transitAfter they left, I sat down to tighten the screws and saw that the piece indeed was broken and would cost $to replace They did not wrap my Temperpedic mattress in ANYTHING, I saw it in in the truck just loose, and it arrived not only extremely dirty, but with holes all around the edges where they gripped the mattress Never in my life have I ever experienced my mattress thrown loose into a truck They did not wrap or protect any of my bed frames, brand new and dark wood, and they are now scratched to hell They simply wrapped our couches in plastic shrink wrap, half of which was torn and exposed by the time they arrived No padding, no protection for the edges or corners, nothing I asked them FOUR TIMES to please wrap our bicycles, as they are high dollar value itemsNever happened, saw them loose in the truck with a blanket draped over them Every moving company prior to this one has wrapped and padded them for us They were rushing towards the end and throwing everything haphazardly into boxesAn entire Costco sized gallon of blue soap was left open and thrown into a box with beddingEntire gallon emptied into the duvet Also packed directly on the duvet was a LOOSE TOILET PLUNGER DIRECTLY ON BEDDING Washed the bedding three times when we got home, and still can't get the blue out Other miscitems manhandled and broken: three flower pots, a picture frame, a shower curtain ring, and a vase Only reason I know is because I heard all of them happen except for the picture frame which I got to discover upon unpacking I reached out to the "owner and president" Blake within hours with all of these concerns, and again a few days later when I never so much as received a responseIt has been almost two months and I still haven't heard a word from him I would have let everything go if he would have had the decency to replace the tv stand and a new cover for our mattress This would have been a total of $150, which does not even cover all of the aesthetic damages done to our bed frame and the items that were broken

I obtained three bids for moving our household from Round Rock, Texas to Sarasota, Florida The representative of Copper Palm, "B", did a walk through of our home in February and submitted an estimate to us via email that included the following charges: transportation charges = $3,945.11+ packing = $ I spoke to B's associate, "A", on at least three occasions to confirm the following: estimate of 8,pounds (I asked A if they wanted to come and do a final walkthrough since B had informed me that we would not be charged for any weight over 8,pounds), and that we would receive a credit if it was less than 8, A told me that they were confident with the 8,pounds and that another walkthrough would not be necessary On at least two subsequent conference phone calls with my husband and me, A confirmed that the more packing we did ourselves the more the $would be reduced My husband and I packed our 4-bedroom, 3-bath house ourselves The only packing the Copp

This company scammed my fiance and IOne of their employees came to our apartment in May and took inventory of our things to move across the countryHe sent us several incorrect quotes over a few weeks (which should have been our first red flag), but we had spent so much time trying to get it right we wanted to move forwardRight before our move (with no time to find another moving company), they called us and said they had entered "peak season" and would have to significantly increase our cost in order to move our apartmentWe tried contacting their owner Blake to explain the situation, but he never called backEven though we had agreed on an amount in our contract, they just refused to move us unless we paid them moreApparently this is a trick they use in the industry, but we wanted to warn others about this company

Services were charged at an hourly rate for manual laborServices were not actually rendered the whole time company was on premisesSeveral times while company was on premises I had to politely request to continue working and not take a break every minutesWhile at premises there was hour of services rendered along with my boyfriend working along side them I was however charged for approximately hours of servicesThis was a simple move from one unit to another within an apartment complex with a large moving elevator that was reserved for them to use I used this company last year and they did a great job, but they have a new moving crewWhen I complained about the decline in service I was told the moving business is very transient and employees tend to migrate When I complained I was told per Texas law they couldn't modify the chargers until I payed in full and basically because of the law they were allowed to provide poor service and I still must payI was told if I

This is one of the worse experiences I have had with a businessThe actual cost of packaging and moving items came to more than 250% than the original quoteSome items were not packaged properly and they were misplacedWe had to have a pendulum for a clock custom madeThe very worst was the loss of a remote control for a fan in our bedroom and the owner says there is no proof that they lost itI followed his instructions and took photos of out itemsWe did not move itWe spent all summer, which was brutally hot, without a fan in our bedroomThe insurance we purchased was worthlessWe now have purchased a new fan and face additional expenses of installation and work by an electricianWe only spoke to the owner, Blake, when he made the saleWhen we had issues, he had different employees respondSome of his employees are poorly trained and they have high turnoverI would not recommend this terrible company
