I am saddened to see this go from a prospective project to a falling outI don't condone any of our employees to do work on the side but I don't have control over what they may do for friends and familyI've never allowed anyone to use our license number for side workThe version I was told was
that Rick D*** has a sister who is a real estate agentWe have been very busy and unable to get to new projects during that time so we weren't taking any more projects inI was notified after the work had been done however it my understanding the work was a favor for Rick's sister to provide a simple inspection and notify of anything that he could see that needs changed or repairedBoth Rick and the customer had negotiated a price for the inspection and had the repair work been authorized we would have used those funds and used the business to pull permits and make repairs and at that time Rick had negotiated that the inspection fee could possibly be integrated into that costIt's my understanding that Rick's sister the real estate agent has had a falling out with the customer for other reasons then the electrical inspection, many reasons from my understandingRick however acting on his own had negotiated a price for services that did not require licensing or permits but a simple educated inspection on code violations that were existing did a fantastic job for that customerHe went as far as printing out a spreadsheet with illustrations showing existing issues and corrective actions on repairing the electricalFrom my understanding what I've Been Told since the customer did not acquire the property she did not feel like she needed to pay for that serviceI am sorry she feels that way however Rick did provide a service which I would describe as above and beyond a inspectionIn fact since then we have re-evaluated the way Copperhead does inspections and have decided to Shadow the method that Rick had done his
