I ordered a set of *** Saddle Bags for my *** ** *** Roadster(like the one on their website) color matched to by bike on 4-2-I received the bags by Fed X on 4-27- The left saddlebag(left being left as if I was riding bike) would not latch, period The right bag would latch them pop open I sent Christopher ( my salesperson and was told he was a mgr) an email asking that he call me regarding the problem He did not call and emailed me stating they tested each bag prior to shipping for proper closureNo other communication, period I called and waited over minutes on hold and finally talked to Sergio (installer) and he said the "he" had to shim the latches on these bags with small washers so they would close/latch Also the brackets were painted to match the frame of *** as suggested by Christopher, and the paint job is very poor at bestSergio is supposed to be sending new ones I think that I deserved a better product and customer service for spending $1,+ $for shipping I WOULD NOT BUY ANY THING FROM THEM AGAIN, their customer service SUCKS If you need help, you are not going to get it from these folks Revdex.com gives them an "F" rating and they certainly deserve it
On 9-17-15 I placed an order with Corbin for a rear seat and back rest and received the order on 10-28-15.
This particular seat is for a 2004 GSX1300R "Hayabusa". It has a tube that is used inside the fiberglass saddle that holds the rear back rest to the seat via a post and pin configuration. The post from the rest slides into the tube in the rear of the seat and is fastened with a set screw. That would be great if the tube inside the pan was straight. Mine is offset and as a result the rear back rest sits at a very odd angle. If someone were to sit on it the pad would hit the passenger right in the kidney. I haven't even bothered to put it on the bike.
The crooked support is one thing but then whomever had to drill the hole for the set screw to hold the thing together took a shot in the dark. One drill attempt missed the support entirely, the second seemed off the mark and then I found a third hole hidden under... epoxy?? This pan looks like swiss cheese.
This is the beginning of a very frustrating "ride", one that I paid $417.00 for altogether.
They do not respond to any emails, even the "Customer Service" email posted on their website. No response. Period.
Calls are met with being put on hold then disconnected.
I was contacted by one individual stating he was from this company only to not hear from him again after I sent the pictures he requested.
On only one occasion when I called I managed to talk to someone and I was informed that the pan is defective and the seat would have to be returned and redone but I would have to pay to get it recovered. ? Huh, its a factory screw up? Why should I have to pay to fix that plus shipping? They put me on hold and within 5 seconds I was disconnected. Any and all calls since then have resulted in a similar "put on hold/disconnection" scenario with no answers to be found.
This company seems to know what Customer Service is, it simply does-not-exist.
Awful customer service. I bought a rear fender from them for my [redacted] spyder. The dealer said the licence plate light was bad. I bought a new light from Corbin but found that it was the wiring was bad. I called and spoke with Jessica to return the licence plate light frame. They stated they will not give me my money back and they have a no return policy. I have found nowhere on there website that states you can not return there products. She was very rude in the phone and will do nothing for me. I said I would pay a restocking fee and they did not care.
