Hello,My name is Daryl CorbyI am the third generation owner of Corby's Collision, we have proudly served our community for over yearsThis is the first time that a complaint has been made to the Revdex.com.Unfortunately, we did have a bad experience with [redacted] at our shop as he proceeded to cause a huge scene in front of other customersThe incident that MR [redacted] claims actually started the prior time he came to our shop to pick up his vehicle after ALL the repairs were completed according to State Farms original estimateMr [redacted] had claimed that there was a part missing from the accident on the vehicle and that the front bumper did not line up properly on the drivers side of the vehicle.(please remember We repaired the passengers side of the bumper according to State Farms Estimate.) He claims that his pictures clearly show the tow hook cover was on the car when he dropped it off to us and called us liars when we told him it was notHis own pictures clearly show it was NOT thereAt this point we told him we would need to call his insurance company and have them reinspect his claims as it is not our decision on whether these additional repairs are going to be coveredMr [redacted] is now aware that the Tow hook cover was always missingI do believe he became more upset after he realized he was wrong [redacted] 's insurance company State Farm came out to reinspect his claims of damagesThe adjuster for State Farm, Who has been doing this for many years, wrote a PRIOR DAMAGE ESTIMATE (I CAN SUPPLY A COPY OF WHAT STATE FARM WROTE) to replace the COMPLETE BUMPER COVER, the tow hook access cover and the Left side front bumper mounting bracketTHEY DETERMINED THESE DAMAGES WERE NOT RELATED TO THE OTHER DAMAGES ON THE ORIGINAL STATE FARM ESTIMATE( I can supply a copy of original estimate)From this point Mr [redacted] was completely irrational and took out all his frustrations on usAlthough I do agree with Mr [redacted] , that the customer is usually right, in this case , Mr [redacted] is wrongI have been doing this for years and in my opionion I agree with State Farm that the damages he is claiming is not relatedI also believe that Mr [redacted] was well aware of this and in that case was trying to commit insurance fraudCorby's Collision will have no part of insurance fraud.We were verbally and physically asulted by Mr [redacted] with a customer who saw the whole altercation! Mr [redacted] attacked Jason first and Jason defended himself until My Technician and myself broke them apartThe Whole incident lasted secondsMr [redacted] called us Liars and used phrases such as "Dummy Check" and "source of truth"Now he is slandering me and my Company on the Revdex.com and on YelpSeveral times he told me to wipe the smile off my face as he was pointing at me with aggresion and his father was holding him backAt that point I told him I was going to leave the situation before he did something stupidIs that the threat he claims I made? I walked away in my own shop to avoid further confrontaion with Mr [redacted] I should have called the PoliceLesson learned.I would also like to state for the record that we repaired rust on Mr [redacted] 's left fender at no charge to himWe did this because that is what we do for our customersWe do our best to take care of themThis would have costed him roughly $200.Lastly, I would like to say, Mr [redacted] claims to have this whole transaction on tape and has threatened the use of it several timesI ask that the Revdex.com request this tape from him to finish this crazy complaint, Although I doubt [redacted] will provide it as all the truths would be heard

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]No assault was made besides the fact I pushed Jason *** when I entered the office due to his aggressive stance as I enteredThis is the moment when Jason *** placed me in a choke hold from behindAt this point my father had to pull him off of meAlso Daryll threatened to "kick my as" within the garage after reviewing the work on my vehicle and in front of multiple witnessesOne witness being my father and the other two employeesNo threats were made to Daryll personally, but he continued to escalate the situation in the garage until he was asked to leave by my father and during this time his employee Bill handled the matterI also never asked Corby's to do any further "extra" work on my behalf and is not something to hold against me in any wayPayment has been made in full for work and any "favors" are done on their ownI will also note as I spoke to Daryll on the phone prior to this situation he name called as I was trying to determine what the estimator had determined after reviewing my vehicleThis is where Daryll decided to name call me a "jerk" and a "*** ** * ***" on the phoneThis triggered the whole scenario that followed at his locationThe bottom-line is that Daryll as an owner handled a customer interaction poorly on the phone to begin withNo name calling was made to him over the phone as I was just trying to get to the bottom of the work being done and work I was paying for
