We contracted with Corcoran Brothers on October 26, 2018, after relocating to Kalispell, Montana. After giving Mr. Corcoran a deposit of $2,500, he was not able to complete the work. After admitting his inability to complete the work on June 11, 2019, he informed me in emails, texts and a phone call that he would return at least 80% of the deposit. To date, we have only received $1,000 (in several small payments over the last six months) of the $2,000 owed to us.
contracted us to caulk all siding nail holes on home and all seams in soffits along with seams at front and back porches. After the caulking we were to paint home. We received a payment of $2,500.00 down.
This was an outdoor winter job that had numerous weather delays. In this winter I had employee loss and I got rotator cuff of the shoulder. After realizing that I can't squeeze the caulk gun 30 and 40 foot up, I informed *** that I'm distraught over this; because we have never not completed a job since we formed our company in 2005, and would refund some of his down payment, and I would make payments since I was not of commission with shoulder injury.
He became more aggressive over time with his words and eventually threatening my company and myself, it was then I said I'm sending one last check, and will go over the numbers from the job. We completed almost 3/4 of that phase of labor and a small amount of material at: $3005.00 - He had a neighbor confiscate a 32ft ladder at replacement of: $313.00 - and I sent him: $1000.00.
*** saved money on his next paint bid because of our work and he wants to claim our time is of no value.
This matter is closed. I did inform him to rethink coming and attacking me or my family.
