To Whom It may Concern, This is an email regarding [redacted] , whom still has a loaner car of mineWe have done everything within our power to make things right for herAlthough we agree that it is a misfortune about her used vehicle breaking down on her, we of course had no idea when we sold itThese things happen time to timeThings break that are completely out of our controlWe make every attempt to make sure our vehicles are safe, reliable pieces of transportationBut as things happen, cars break downWe also make it a company policy that when things go bad to helpAs a small business, there is only so much that we can doAt no time did we ever just state the factsThe facts are that she bought a used vehicle AS/ISShe signed many forms that made her aware of thatSo she did purchase a warranty for the vehicleBut of course that is a third party warranty and what they cover and what stipulations they have in order to pay out on a claim is entirely out of Cordial Auto's handsOnly thing we can do is give her the information, let her know what they look for in order to pay on a claim, and suggest a repair shop that we trustWe did all of the followingWhat transpired with the shop that we suggested to her is between her and that shopWhat she does with the information we gave her is entirely up to herShe did not have to weight to attempt to get the repairs done, nor did she have to go to the shop that we suggestedBut she did, things did no go as she plannedFor that, We are truly sorry, just one of the reasons we decided to go against are company policy and let her drive a vehicle that is oursTo this day, she still has this vehicle with no end in sight. It saddens us at Cordial Auto to see any customer of ours have problems with there vehicles that are purchased from usThings go wrong, cars break, and at the end of the day, what really matters we think is what the dealership does when those things happenWe did what we thought was best, we let her drive a vehicle of ours, we also went as far as to say we would rent her a new car for as long as needed tell her car is fixed. In closing, we feel that we did nothing wrong, although it is a misfortune that her car broke down we at Cordial Auto made every attempt to make things right, when we could.Shane G***GM Cordial Auto

From: Cordial Auto Brokers, Changing lives Sent: Tuesday, November 15, 6:PMSubject: ID ***The following is Cordial Auto's account of what transpired on *** ***'s purchase of her Chevy Trailblazer on May 12th of During the negotiations of this deal it came to light that
her truck that she was purchasing was in need of some missing items, which of course WERE NOT REQUIRED BY LAW to be thereDuring the process, Cordial Auto agreed to provide a spare tire as well as fix a seat belt issue that for obvious reasons needed to be addressed prior to her taking deliveryFor reasons that should be obvious, We did not have a seat belt clip on hand that would fit her truck, being that we are a small car lot, we do not stock any extra parts for vehiclesAt all times we try and provide any and all promised work at the time of purchaseWe were able to pull a seat belt clip out of another vehicle that would work, leaving her with only a passenger side seat belt that was not workingAt that point both parties agreed that the vehicle was fit to take delivery ofWe provided Mrs*** with a due bill, see attached, discussing all work that was promisedAs it is well known, used vehicles are purchased AS/IS with no warrantyAll disclosure was provided to Mrs*** at time of purchaseShe was fully aware of every and all minor defects that the vehicle might haveThe following day, we ordered a new seat belt clip so as to make good on the due bill that we promisedBeing that it was an older vehicle, The local Chevy Dealer did not stock the necessary part, seat belt clipThey to had to order itWhen something is coming from the factory it takes timeAll of which was relayed to Mrs***Two weeks after her purchasing the vehicle she called saying she was experiencing problems with starting the truckWe explained to her that we were by no means responsible for things such as that after the fact, but we always want to try and due with in reason what is best for all of our customers, we agreed to look at the problemWe did so, and found the vehicle was having a starting problemOur mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and said it required a new starterAfter replacing the starter we found out that it was not the problem, so after re diagnosing the vehicle again our mechanic said it could be something as simple as the ignitionWe replaced that as wellAt that point the problem was fixedAfter the fact, we now spent over $to do after sale repairs that we were not obligated to do. Mrs*** agreed to pay $against her car deal for the money that we now were out due to the repairs on her vehicleShe was unable to pay the amount at the time so we agreed that it would be something that she could pay at a later dateAt no time did we make any unnecessary demands on the $that was owed to us, other than letting her know that when the time came for us to install the seat belt clip in her truck, we would expect to be made whole on her promise to payAt the point of us receiving the seat belt clip from the factory, she was called to set up an appointmentThat's when she brought up the fact that the truck had no spare tire or jackWe agreed to provide her with a spare tire and jack that once again was not an obligation of Cordial AutoWe did in fact get the spare tire and jack that would work for her truck and we let her know that we were ready to have her bring in the truck so as to get the final work done on her vehicleWe also mentioned that she did owe us $150, and per her agreement with us, we mentioned that we would expect to be reimbursed for the money that she made a promise onShe agreed to pay the money the day she was to bring the vehicle inThat day came and went, she never showed up for her appointment with our mechanicThinking that it might be due to her not having the money to make good on her promise, we placed the promised items on our parts shelf and figured she would at some point get in touch with us so we could finish everything up. Three months later, sometime after August, she called the dealership very disgruntled. She asked to speak to me, and the call was forwarded to my officeAfter finding out what exactly the problem was, I told her that we were more than happy to do what we promised to do, all she had to do was set an appointment to pick up her spare tire and jack as well as have her new seat belt clip installedAt the same time, I also reminded her of the $that she had promised to payThat's when she became unreasonableShe starting yelling and cussing at me, telling me how unhappy she was with the truck and the way she was treatedI tried to calm her down and reason with her, but at this point she was just to unreasonable to talk toShe stated that she would never pay the $and we could stick it where, I will leave that part outAt that point she hung the phone upTo never be heard from again, until we received this complaintTo this day, we still have the seat belt clip, as well as a spare tire and jack that we promised to give herAt no time have we ever made it to be believed that we would not perform the promised work nor would we keep the tire and jack due to the money that she owes the dealershipAt anytime we are willing to perform the promised work.Thank You,Shane G*** GM Cordial Auto Brokers

I am rejecting this response because:I originally bought the car cash In December. When regarding the plates I had to keep contacting the dealership to obtain them. Once I went in the first time I received a second permit. I had to get a bit tough and shortly after they provided me with plates. The response is inaccurate as to they have already given me license plates for the car. The response is saying that I have not picked up my plates. Unless they gave me plates to another car. Secondly, I have not received the title to the vehicle, I feel like this is all very unprofessional and I felt the need to push them to do things in a timely manner. I understand that they are a business I also understand the car is 16 years old, the car was paid in Cash, and for the condition and all the work that needed to be done to be safe on the road is well above KBB value.
Sincerely,

To Whom It may Concern, This is an email regarding [redacted], whom still has a loaner car of mine. We have done everything within our power to make things right for her. Although we agree that it is a misfortune about her used vehicle breaking down on her, we of course had no idea when we sold it. These things happen time to time. Things break that are completely out of our control. We make every attempt to make sure our vehicles are safe, reliable pieces of transportation. But as things happen, cars break down. We also make it a company policy that when things go bad to help. As a small business, there is only so much that we can do. At no time did we ever just state the facts. The facts are that she bought a used vehicle AS/IS. She signed many forms that made her aware of that. So she did purchase a warranty for the vehicle. But of course that is a third party warranty and what they cover and what stipulations they have in order to pay out on a claim is entirely out of Cordial Auto's hands. Only thing we can do is give her the information, let her know what they look for in order to pay on a claim, and suggest a repair shop that we trust. We did all of the following. What transpired with the shop that we suggested to her is between her and that shop. What she does with the information we gave her is entirely up to her. She did not have to weight to attempt to get the repairs done, nor did she have to go to the shop that we suggested. But she did, things did no go as she planned. For that, We are truly sorry, just one of the reasons we decided to go against are company policy and let her drive a vehicle that is ours. To this day, she still has this vehicle with no end in sight. It saddens us at Cordial Auto to see any customer of ours have problems with there vehicles that are purchased from us. Things go wrong, cars break, and at the end of the day, what really matters we think is what the dealership does when those things happen. We did what we thought was best, we let her drive a vehicle of ours, we also went as far as to say we would rent her a new car for as long as needed tell her car is fixed. In closing, we feel that we did nothing wrong, although it is a misfortune that her car broke down we at Cordial Auto made every attempt to make things right, when we could.Shane G[redacted]GM Cordial Auto
