I am rejecting this response because:I was NEVER told any such information about bringing in broken part until Monday when I called [redacted]. At which time he said and I quote: "you have to prove to me that other is the wrong part as well as bringing in broken." [redacted] an have his part back. I just want my $55.00 so I can buy the part somewhere else. As the rrturn/refund is explained on reverse side off the rrceipt statrs NOTHING at all as stated by [redacted]. If he had in fact stated that I would have not bought the part. Cuz the bracket broken and only part of it I had. I Told [redacted] that the days I bought his part.

In response to [redacted]'s compliant: She called looking for a power steering bracket for her 1989 Chevy Van with a 350 engine. I told [redacted] that we only had a power steering pump, with the bracket, as an assembly. I told her if she could not find a bracket only, that we could only help her with the...

assembly and the price would be $55.00. She showed up to pick up the assembly. She had to wait maybe five to ten minutes, just long enough for our employee to walk to the power steering building, get the part, and bring it up front. At that time she asked if it was the wrong one, could she bring it back. I made it perfectly clear to her, that if she brought in the old part, the part she purchased, and the invoice, she would be entitled to a refund if we could not help her with the correct part. She replied ok. She called me on Monday and asked me if she could bring it back and get her money back. Once again I reminded her of our previous conversation and her reply to me was that she didn't remember that part of the conversation and hung up the phone. Our policy still stands today. If she brings in her old part, the part that she purchased, and the invoice and we cannot help her with the correct part, we would refund her money.

Review: November 10,2014, Monday. I called Cordova Truck Dismantlers Inc. Spoke to a man named [redacted]. I told him I needed a bracket for the power steering pump pulley for a 1989 Chevy van with a 350 motor. [redacted] said they "have one but the power steering pump pulley is attached and that's the way they sell it. the cost was $55.00." I said I would be out to get it. My sister [redacted] came with me. When we got there we had to wait a bit. Then this other man came out with it. I then asked [redacted]: If it does not fit may I bring it back?" [redacted] responded "Yes as long as you have the invoice." At that point he handed me what he called the invoice. The man that brought it out then carried it out to my vehicle. November 12, 2014. I was having the bracket installed. It would not fit. I then called Cordova Truck Dismantlers Inc. I was old that [redacted] was out but if I left my name and number [redacted] would call me back. So I left my information. I waited an hour. No call came. I called them qnd [redacted] answered the phone. I told [redacted] that the bracket would not work and I was bringing it back for a refund. At that point [redacted] said "make sure you bring the broken part to prove it would not fit." I said you told me as long a I have the invoice you would refund me my money. [redacted] disagreed. I did not want to argue so I said good-bye hung up. I then read invoice front and back. No where on the invoice did it say I have to bring back the broken part to prove it would not fit. I then called The Revdex.com where I was instructed to go on line to file a complaint.That iss where I am now. Thank you for your time in thiss matter.Desired Settlement: I want my $55.00 back at which I would return item in the exact condition which I got it in.
