I am not debating that I am month to month.  I am debating that this eviction was based on a complaint to the city. The property has had an opening for more than 6 months directly above me.  The largest employer in town had laid off more than a thousand people in the last year.  It seems that Core 3 knows it is cheaper to replace me that it is to replace all the windows here.  The prior tenants, the [redacted] family, have also said they had moisture issue with the windows in the unit that I live in.

I am rejecting this response because:This is obviously retaliatory eviction based on my filing a complaint with the city.  It is clearly illegal.  I hope that the Revdex.com takes action.  I am willing to provide photos to the Better Business Bereau.  Please contact [redacted], at [redacted] to verify that this is retaliatory eviction.

Here is our response to the complaint received on 4/2/18.   Dear Mr. [redacted],    You first requested that the windows be fixed on12/22/17. We sent a maintenance technician out to the unit to look at the windows. We let you know that we were replacing the windows and your door but we...

needed warmer weather prior to doing so. We were in the process of getting bids to replace the windows when we became aware there was a City of Bloomington inspection done to the premises. The City of Bloomington required us to replace a door and repair windows. We explained again to the City of Bloomington that we would need higher temperatures to replace the windows. We replaced your door on 4/2/18. Core 3 is waiting on a permit from the City of Bloomington to replace the windows. If the permit comes in we are scheduled to replace them Thursday or Friday as there is no rain in the forecast. We are in agreement with the City in regards to the repairs that are being required and we are scheduling a follow up re-inspection date so they can confirm the work has been done.   While I have addressed the maintenance concerns in this letter, these complaints regarding maintenance and other miscellaneous items have no bearing on our request to have you vacate the premises. Your lease is a month to month lease, we are only required to provide you 30-days written notice. We served this notice to you on 3/13/2018 which is well over the 30 days required from us.   The company’s stance remains the same, and you are required to be out of the unit on 4/30/18.   Sincerely,    [redacted] Core 3 Property Management (309)808-2125

[redacted],   I wanted to get back in touch with you in regards to this issue.   As we have discussed on the phone it is Core 3’s stance that we are not at fault and we do not plan to do any further for [redacted] at this time. This tenant has been a problem tenant for quite some time....

This tenant and the co-occupant of this unit were consistently late with payments and difficult to deal with.  They were constantly argumentative with nearly all issues.     I am attaching notes and text messages that have been sent through our system to show some of the communication between our office and the consumer.   I am also attaching a disposition letter that shows that their security deposit was to offset charges that they were responsible for.     Please let me know if this is enough information to clear this matter up before the termination hearing that is scheduled for tomorrow.   Thanks   [redacted] President / Managing Broker Core 3  [redacted] Bloomington, IL  61701 Ph. I am rejecting this response because: Core 3 is not telling the truth. [redacted] could not pay any rent due to the apartment complex was boarded up due to the fire. The fire happened on mother's day May 14, 2017. Mr. [redacted] have been late one time. Therefore there was no rent to be paid due to that [redacted] was already out because of the fire. As far as the bed bugs the health department came out and determined that the bed bugs came from the apartment across the hall that was vacant for a year. The health department made core 3 exterminate the apartment. The lady who came from the State health department name is [redacted] asked the police department to assist him because he did not want to argue with [redacted] who has be terminated from Core 3. [redacted] is a person who have stage 4 cancer and there was no way that he was going to go in that office by himself.I also called Mark out of the Bloomington office and he referred me back to Glennea [redacted] nor myself have never received a text message. Any person who is in business would never send a text message to someones phone any correspondence that a busness should make must be mailed and certified by the postal service. [redacted] had all his mail transferred to [redacted]. Core 3 refunded [redacted] two weeks for being out of the apartment. When [redacted] went to retrieved the two week check Mark threw papers at [redacted] and Mark are what we call bullies. What I don't understand why Core 3 is still with the Revdex.com. It took them two months to get back with you. Also I asked for deposit and hotel expenses due to the fire that started across the hall. This has nothing do with the bed bugs that came from the apartment across the hall which spreaded to my apartment. To my understanding the tenants that live across the hall was not the tenants that apartment was rented to.
