Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: According to *** * ***, *** *** *** (company sent to recheck my shop roof), he spoke to Tomas from Core (other partner to Andrew S***) on Thursday Jan or Friday January 26th and told them all the things that are still wrong with my shop roof These will cause rusting and leaking into my shop And I don't consider the months it has taken to fix my roof appropriate We were told we were a priority to fix the errors done by Core which caused the leaking of the roof in the first place Mr*** could see my concern about the roof leaking and suggested we go cover up my important items that would be ruined if water got on themMy roof still isn't fixed, and I haven't spoken to a person from Core in weeks As both Thomas and Andrew are aware, I suffer from Massive depressive disorder, panic attacks and anxiety Andrew stated that they tried to leave us messages for us to call and schedule an appointment for Mr*** Then in Andrews response to my original complaint, he states our email to them went to spam, and I have the phone conversation recorded sent to me by Thomas wishing me a Happy New Year....and that he will have Mr*** call me to schedule coming out Then I heard nothing months for them to do their job, trips out to correct all the problems with the roof I am told everything is good, and now the person they hired to give me peace of mind tells me I should cover up my collectibles so "they don't get wet, cause I don't know how long it will be for Core to come fix the problem." Mr*** stated "It will take person from Core about hours" I don't need the worry about the stuff in my shop getting wet Andrew and I did come to an agreement for all the problems I have had with their company and my roof Then he stated, "I didn't think it was that expensive and we will visit this later." Then I heard nothing until I filed this complaint I wrote Core a letter months ago telling them the process I will follow if they didn't correct the problems I was having And second on my list was filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and 3rd is getting legal counsel So in his response to my initial Revdex.com complaint, it wasn't a surprise to him that after months dealing with this problem I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com....and again my roof will eventually leak (according to the expert sent by Core to ease my concerns)
Sincerely,
*** ***

We have finished repairs and are currently awaiting a response from the client to pick up additional material.  We received the report Feb. 5th from the roofing engineer indicating that he was satisfied with the install and that it "looked good in general"  It was installed correctly and he pointed out that there was a few minor punchlist items that he'd like to see corrected.  These consisted of some screws he'd like to see redone and some minor touchup paint applied to a few areas.  We performed these repairs on Feb 27th.  Since then, we've left multiple messages to gain access to the property to remove the additional material.  We have every intention of coming to an agreeable close with our client and are just waiting to hear back so we can pick up the remaining material left on the property.  At that point, we will discuss a reasonable discount for all of the frustrations our client has experienced.  We're sorry that our client does not accept our previous response, but we feel we are doing everything in our power to come to a peaceable resolution through the use of a third party engineer and addressing the issues presented to us.  Thank you,  Andrew S[redacted]

First off, we apologize for any situation where our client feels the need to engage a 3rd party because they don't feel we're responding quickly enough or addressing their concerns.  As we strive to get things right the first time, sometimes mistakes are made and we need to fix them.  This...

is always a stressful experience for the client to go through.  On December 15th the client and I spoke and we discussed some of her frustrations with the experience.  All the work had been finished, but the client was understandably concerned about the quality of the finished product.  We discussed a reasonable discount off the final bill and offered to have a 3rd party Roofing Engineer come out and provide an inspection for quality, paid for by Core.  Over the Christmas holiday, we reached out to the engineer and requested his services.  On Jan. 3rd, we emailed the client's spouse to coordinate the inspection.  On Jan. 5th, we called and left a vm with the client to try and schedule.  We also emailed the engineer on Jan. 5th to reach out to the client because we hadn't heard back.  When going back, we saw that the client spouse did respond to my partners email, but it went to spam and we missed the response.  The next week, we received the complaint and immediately reached out to the client again to schedule the engineer's report.  We discovered then they had attempted to respond to us, but nothing had been scheduled yet.  Since then, the Engineer was scheduled, performed the inspection last week and met with the client.  We are currently awaiting the report and any corrections or recommendations made by the engineer will be addressed accordingly in a timely manner.  We expect that report within the next week.  Upon receipt we'll reach back out to the client and move forward with any next steps to try and come to a reasonable conclusion.  Sincerely, Andrew S[redacted].
