Core Resolve not only did not resolve any issues with my computer, they instead made a much bigger mess of everything and disconnected my wireless connectivity I gave them plenty of chances to fix these problems, but they could't I stopped my payment to them

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU PAY FOR THIS SCAM, DO NOT USE THESE.PEOPLE!!!! After years and calls their abilities, efforts, and attitudes have severely deteriorated! First you must understand that although they have a "California" address, English is NOT their first language and you are just trying to communicate with someone IN another country I will just tell you about my most recent and LAST EXPERIENCE WITH THESE INCREDIBLY INEPT PEOPLE 6:12pm, 6:pm, and 7:p.m2/15/ I called due to a pop up which started after their last"repair" 1/4/They immediately gained access to my computer via SUPREMOHe kept talking over me every time I tried to explain the problem; then he put me on hold for minutes! I called back and was disconnected I called BACK and who answered was speaking in his native tongue to someone else obviouslyActually it sounded like a party--NO JOKE--after I said hello times he said "ma'am you need to hang up I started to protest and explain why I was calling and HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!! Mind you they had my contact numberAnd never once tried to call me! I promptly exited the screen and turned off the computer Obviously I'm not renewing my contract which expires 2/20/PLEASE BEWARE!!

These guys are the "new norm" for what you get when you go looking online for someone to help with your computer/printer tech woes So what do you get for $& some dollars, I don't know since I refused to sign up for something that big without knowing who and what But I do know what I have gotten for $and one year of servicevery little
First it is impossible (beyond some of the sales team) to understand the deep accents of the tech guys I find my self saying what, what, over and over again They resolve to be louder each time but not clearer and that maybe wouldn't be so bad if they KNEW WHAT they were doingI can tell they miss things or skip overr things and ultimately I have to call them back or in this instant call *** directly and get an ENGLISH speaking tech who knows what he is talking about!!! yeah!

Think VERY VERY carefully before dealing with this Company I will not deal with it again I was treated very courteously but the electronically-transferred "paperwork" confirming its agent's oral representation that I was paying $for a year "transferrable" service warranty did NOT show that I would be, and, in fact, its website reflects a year warranty for that amount A couple of days later, I phoned back to make this observation, and after a lengthy delay with an equally-courteous agent, was assured "through [his] supervisor" that an email reflecting that agreement would be sent to me It has not been as of the moment this rating was sent Also, its website represents itself as Revdex.com accredited, but the Revdex.com site for its area shows no such thing If my opinion in this box changes for the better or the worse, I will supplement it Frankly, I'm notifying my card carrier to void the transaction if I don't get a written confirmation of the first agent's oral representations within hours after I made the last recorded phone call

Core Resolve not only did not resolve any issues with my computer, they
instead made a much bigger mess of everything and disconnected my
wireless connectivity. I gave them plenty of chances to fix these
problems, but they could't. I stopped my payment to them

Warning: 'Geeks Advise' appears to be a renaming of Core IT Resolve.

I just completed a 1 yr membership with Core IT Resolve. They serviced my computer a few times over that year. Longer time than quotes and communication issues were somewhat frustrating, but nothing I was too upset about. Two days prior to my membership expiring, they contacted me for a final computer servicing. They had my account information, so I allowed the work.
They then talked me into a longer membership. Prices were high (Lifetime: $799.99), but I agreed. Payment was done by getting my checking account and routing information. They then instructed me of an additional requirement of $199.99 for 'taxes.' Reluctantly, I agreed. This payment was to be made by a snail-mailed check. He then told me that payments would be pulled by the name 'Geeks Advise,' the servicing provider. ?? He then explained how they were a part of Core IT Resolve, and that both were Revdex.com accredited.

Upon completion of the work, now having access to my computer, I looked up both companies. Both companies have all negative reviews. The difference being that Geeks Advise (with their 'B+' rating has only existed for a month, since Nov 2016. They have the same address. They are the same company. My guess is that the owner is trying to distance itself from Core IT Resolve's Revdex.com 'F' rating.

Although the receipt stated they did full refunds and provided an 800 number, the number was disconnected. When I eventually spoke with someone that said that he could help, after a great deal of discussion, he still wanted me to pay half the payment, for a membership I attempted to cancel well within 24 hrs.

Since they had my checking account and routing information, they would have access to drain my account at any point in the future. Because of this, I just went through the ordeal of closing the account and opening a new one. Call this a lesson learned.
