Review: I had received a bill from Core for medical services for my daughter for 906.29 on 11/11/2014. I called the billing number on 11/21/2014 and paid using my [redacted] debit card. I received a second bill on 12/14 with the same amount due and called the billing number again on 1/30/2015. They said the previous payment had not gone through. I paid again using the same debit card. Then on 3/16/2015 I received a letter that I still have that same balance due and that I need to pay within 10 days. I checked my debit card payments and it shows that a cash distribution was made to Core on 02/02/2015, yet they are trying to collect a double payment.Desired Settlement: An apology for trying to collect money that was not due through an intimidating letter and for requesting that I should do their job and provide proof of payment which will take time and cost me money (e.g. cost of telephone time, postage stamps, etc.) as well as a signed affidavit stating that payment has been received.
